FRUIT ROULADE - 0.5 SYN FOR THE WHOLE CAKE :j
absolutely gorgeous!!!
1 TUB QUARK
4 EGGS
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
4 TBSP SWEETNER
VANILLA ESSENCE
FRESH FRUIT OF YOUR CHOICE FINELY CHOPPED ( SOFTER FRUITS & BERRIES WORK VERY WELL & BANANA)
SEPERATE THE EGGS
ADD THE YOLK, HALF THE QUARK,
BAKING POWDER, SWEETNER AND ESSENCE INTO A BOWL, WHISK TOGETHER AND SET ASIDE.
WHISK EGG WHITE TILL STIFF. WHISK HALF INTO THE MIXTURE THEN FOLD IN OTHER HALF.
USING A SWISS ROLL TIN SPRAY WITH FRY LIGHT ( I PUT GREASPROOF PAPER IN FIRST THE SPRAY SO DOESNT STICK) POUR THE MIXTURE IN AND BAKE AT
180 FOR 15 - 20 MINUTES. LEAVE TO COOL
IN A DISH ADD REMAINING QUARK ,SWEETNER, AND ESSENCE AND MIX TOGETHER.
REMOVE THE CAKE FROM TIN WHEN COOL SPREAD THE QUARK EVENLY, ADD FINELY CHOPPED FRUIT (STRAWBERRY AND BANANA MY FAVE). ROLL THE CAKE FROM ONE END. SLICE TO SERVE.
THE WHOLE CAKE IS ONLY HALF A SYN AND THATS THE BAKING POWDER.
WHEN THE CAKE COMES OUT OF THE OVEN IT WILL HAVE RISEN LOADS BUT WILL GO VERY FLAT WHEN COOL LOL I THOUGHT IT HAD GONE WRONG FIRST TIME I MADE IT BUT WAS LOVELY.
* FOR A REAL TREAT YOU CAN MIX A WHITE CHOC OPTIONS SACHET WITH A TUB OF FF GREEK YOG TO SERVE IT WITH....IT TASTES JUST LIKE CREAM - AND ONLY 2.5 SYNS FOR THE WHOLE LOT
ENJOY :A

Terrible weekend! I havent been totally off plan, but just had whats taken my fancy, few custard creams here and dairy milk there, just havent felt like putting my mind to anything really.
Yesterday I had breakfast at 12 of bacon, beans, mushrooms, 2poached eggs. Made a smoothie with strawbs, rasps, blackcurrants, splenda, and a muller light, was delicious!!
Then I had chips at bingo and a dairy milk when I got in......cant even bear the thought of it today!
Today I have had cous cous, cauli broccoli and beans, and going to make another smoothie soon. Got nothing in for tea, so probs just have the same as I had for lunch, or poached egg or something.
Start properly tomorrow when i can get to the shops.0 -
Hello everyone,:wave: I'm sneaking back to join you. Hope you have all been well and are much skinnier than when I left you back in March.
Well we are semi settled here in Bulgaria... the food availability is hit and miss as I don't understand what things say on the packets but I will have to just make do with the stuff that has pictures and that is recognisable LOL.
I bought some cheapo scales this morning as I've not weighed myself since leaving Warsaw (March). Then I was 12st 9lb, now I am 12st 6lb... so not too bad considering I've not been on plan at all. We are hopefully moving to sunnier climes around Sept but not saying anymore in case I jinx it as everything hasn't been finalized yet. SO I want to be thinner for the sunshine times. OH is joining me too.
Today (EE)
B - Coffee 1 w/m toast with butter (0.5B) (1.5)
L - Couscous, feta and ham salad (F) (0.5A)
Snx - Juice (3)
D - Veg Chilli & Rice (F)
Snx - Blueberries & strawberries (F) Granola (5) Yoghurt (2)
and lots of water too.
I'll have to get OH to print out the list of syns again as I don't know where mine have gone so I am sort of guessing at the moment."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
OOOOOHHHHH Welcome back Trixie !!!! :j:j:D:D
Well done on still losing while being off plan too & moving countries! :T
We're all here if you get stuck with any syn things so just give us a shout hunx x

yep I read that they are having some sort of preferential deal with WW. Sometmies in the fridges they have the desserts as well.
The cheddar style are only 2.5 syns per pack.
However, you only get 4 in trhe multibag ( they rebranded- NEW 4 pack) when they used to be 5, or sometimes even 6
I like the S&V hoops as well
Also they sell 3 pack of dime bar  and big packets of 2 finger kitkat
And the mini toffee crisps which I bought todayI love being "urban" my local £land is so close to my house its about 2 minute walk
:j
Yes welcome back Trixie, sooooo bulgaria!! I went there once for a week skiing when I was little and ate cheese & ham toasted sandwiches all weekHope there is plenty for you to choose from xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
oh yeah all the crisps at the moment are 5 packs for the price of 4
and the biscuits are 18 for the price of 12
