I forgot to post wi yesterday, my memory is like a sieve these days. Anyway STS which is good.

BB I agree with your post, i'm between sizes too. Waistbands are miles to big but just right everywhere else or snug as you say. I was in MrS the other day and everything I looked at had evey size cept what I wanted  sales stuff had my size just nothing I was interested in.

Hoping for a good day with plenty of superfrees and not many syns [hopefully]. Have a good bank holiday all x.

    Hi all,
Never posted on this thread before but am a Slimming World devotee of old??!!
Lost 2 stone and still at target after 18 months - just?!
On half term holiday so been sorting out kitchen cupboards, fridge/freezer etc and checking out this site.
Just made a batch of Carrot and coriander soup because got a surplus of both. Used the Jamie Oliver recipe minus the cream and it was 'lush' now feel very good and am going to tackle my wardrobe.
Jamie Olivers Carrot and coriander soup
    Ingredients
    15ml/1tbsp vegetable oil
    1 onion, chopped
    450g/1lb carrots, washed and sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    5ml/1 tsp ground coriander
    1.2 ltr/2 pints vegetable stock
    45ml/3tbsp chopped fresh coriander
    squeeze of lemon juice
    freshly grated nutmeg to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper
single cream to serve if liked
    Method
    1. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the onions, carrots and garlic, saut! for 4mins, until they are beginning to soften but not colour. Stir in the ground coriander and plenty of seasoning and cook for 1min.
    2. Add the stock and bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 20mins or until the carrots are really tender. Stir in the fresh coriander.
    3. Whizz the soup with a stick blender or transfer to a food processor. Add the lemon juice and nutmeg to taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Reheat until just hot but not boiling and serve. Garnish with a swirl of cream if liked.

I think all the ones that are syn free cakes use something ( like couscous or similar) that are a misuse of free foods.. I also have her on my facebook page, what she does looks great!
