Minxtress - have a big chocolatey hug from me! Men, eh?
Oh well, its me and the dog today - just how I like it!

Anyway, yesterday was quite a success on the 7 day thing - the only thing I didn't quite manage was the 7x 500 ml of liquid - got up to 2.5 L and then gave up after the 92nd wee of the day! I did do extra exercise and had 7 syns and 7 speed foods so not too bad - the good thing about the water is that I don't feel bloated at all today - must have flushed out the extra water?

    Today's food will be...
Breakfast - satsuma (S) and Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - pickled beetroot (S), pickled cabbage (S), lettuce (S), cucumber (S), tomatoes (S), boiled egg, raspberries (S), strawberries (S)
Tea - bean chilli with cannelini, kidney and black eyed beans (all S), pepper (S), onion (S), mushrooms (S), cheese on top (A choice)

Extras - not sure yet as that's no syns so far but I may have some nut mix stuff from the Graze box.

So that's 1 A and B choice, 14 speed foods(!!) and no syns but that will change.

Hello Monkeynut and best of luck.
Brilliant losses Findingmyownway and Magnolia and also your son and partner are doing well. :T

Lisa hope that your dad is feeling better and you can keep on track. Have always found that when we were daily visiting hospital our eating habits went from bad to dreadful. Planning, planning and planning is the only way to go when things like this happen.

I always used to think bread was one of the hardest things to give up but once I had manged a week I hardly missed it tbh. Probably have it once a week here now.

today am going for EE -
B - Yogurt, grapes and apple
L - Bacon, egg, tomatoes and mushrooms.
T - Last of the Leek & potato soup. Smoked cod, new potatoes, watercress, tomatoes and mushrooms. Orange.
HEA - will be milk HEB will be ryvita tonight
Syns will be butter on potatoes (1) and small amount of cheese to go with the ryvitas
Snacks - fruit and have some yogurts in the freezer for an icecream type treat later.
    MARCH £62.38/250

Well all best laid plans etc etc
OH has just texted to say we ARE going out with his parents for a curry tonight. No warning at all!

Will stick to free food all day and try not to go berserk in curry house - not confident of this as I am in a mood!

oh, my other rule about keeping eyes shut when going to the loo in the night, DO NOT WHATEVER YOU DO CHECK THE TIME. Keep 'em closed, or at least averted from the clock.

I am with you on this, NEVER look at the time, once you do, and youve worked the hours out what you have left to sleep, thats it your doomed! Thats how it is for me anyway ;)

I'm going to do an EE day today, a lovely chicken dinner is just what I fancy to keep me happy :) ...
Well time to go crack on with a bit of ironing I suppose :o Have a good day all......I'll no doubt be back in a bit :p

Dizzy, why don't you stop speaking to Mr D whilst you are PMTish and just write to him, the things you write crack me up!

WI this morning and have lost the 1.5lb I gained last week so am a happy bunny :D.

Have on an old pair of size 12 3 quarters and have had to use a belt. I now look like a sack of !!!!! tied up in the middle pmsl.

TIE, I do believe that "paper bag look" is very stylish right now!

Minxstress, I love the idea of "needing a cuddle from some choccy" - and if you do need it why not have it now and again? That is partly what SW is about, giving yourself little treats. You can have a big human hug from me as well xx
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Wow, well done on all the losses, you lot are incredible, esp the people like Magnolia and Mrs M who seem to have great results week after week.

I had my usual sneaky weekend weigh in, and i am back on track now, I don't know why I gained over the last 2 weeks, but back to 1/2 pound above target. Soon as this 1/2lb has gone, I am going to start exercising properly to tone up and hopefully through exercise I will lose a few more pounds too. That way I will always have them few pound to play with when I want a night off etc.
I am thinking once I reach the weight I am happy with, to maintain I may try sticking to the sw way of eating (will not call it a diet!) 6 days a week, and having a flexy day over the weekend do you think this would work? has anyone tried this? rather than increasing HE's etc?

Thanks everyone for your kind words, and hugs. Ive resisted the chocolate cuddles but think il have a dime tonight when I REALLY need it.
I know he's just messing with my head, however he came yesterday when I was out and took loads out of the house, things we'd bought together or things he just thought were his. Im not going to fight him for them, it just upset me. I also found out he has sold our tickets to go see Take That (think im more upset about this than anything lol!!) Anyway slapping the smile on to deal with my customers and children coming back after a night away, and praying for a good week next week, and a good price for my flights so I can get booked up!!
Well done on your weight loss everyone, I wonder if we add up how many lbs since start of this thread and the last one, what the total would be?? Any guesses? xxx

    hello all

Uni is over for the year so I can now post more regularly :D. I still have vertigo :( so can't properly exercise which sucks, but I've got the Shred DVD so will attempt that this week, finger's crossed I'll be ok.

    Green day for me:

B - 2 x eggs fried in frylight on HM WM bread (HEB), LF marg (1syn)
L - big salad, pots, cheese (HEA), falafal (3syns), balsamic vinegar
D - stirfry veg, noodles, stirfry sauce (4.5syns)
    Snacks - banana
Drinks - squash, water, coffee (skimmed milk = 0.5 HEA)

    Total syns = 8.5

Still have a HEB and half a HEA to use so will have something else and update later.
