Morning all
I am pleased to report my first week's WI is:
:j:j3.5 lb loss :j:j
I am really chuffed with that (and my scales measure to the 1/4 lb and I have rounded up, so got a 1/4 lb head start on next week in the bank)
I feel like I have spent my first week learning some good principles. I certainly haven't been 100% on plan, due to eating up food in the house and generally not knowing everything i needed to know to plan things. But I've learned a lot, and am really looking forward to next week! I am inspired to do a meal plan before OH gets out of bed this morn0 -
Minxtress - hope you are ok.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0

Minxtress - hope you are ok.
Thanks Annie, Im pretty rotten at the moment, but all the more determined to stick to plan, as its giving me something really positive on, to be slim again and look forward to nights out and good times. I havent been out for 1.5 year due to lack of confidence. Friends are sick of asking me now! So im going to try and get myself right for summer/xmas parties and enjoy the year once im thin.0 -
Pay day on Wednesday so i may go and look for some new sales, I've got those digital salter ones too and they seem to have a mind of their own!
after buying 2 or 3 different types of 'useless' scales over a couple of years  I did a bit of research & settled on some WW digital scales from Argos (the ones that look like big doctors scales) they were only £24.99 at the time as they had an offer on. They are around £40 now I think - But well worth the money if you can justify spending it as they are accurate every time with SWs WI results.
Well done to the weekends Losers :T:T :j:j:j
Mags I'm in awe at your consistent MEGA lossses..... well done lady!!
Minxtress hope you're ok? Your Ex sounds like he is being a nasty pain in the Aris  How has he got the nerve after what he has already done! Chin up hun......Don't let him drive you to the choccie - thats probably his intention (my ex was a nasty son of a biatch too and relished in making me unhappy )
Well MrDizzy has gone out to 'try' have a game of golf, now considering his back is still painful & he says the walk will maybe do it good.........I posssibly think my ever increasing PMT may be at the root of his getting out of the house:eek: (gawd isn't it awful when he would rather put up with the pain of a bulging disc & sciatica than me and my moodiness :rotfl:)

Morning all, well done on the losses. I'm not going to tell you what I ate yesterday, suffice to say it was off plan lol!! I did have a healthy tea planned but then ended up at hospital with my dad who had severe pain from pleurisy so DH and I ended up with chicken kebabs at 11pm!! I guess it was the better option...it was that or sausage and chips from the chippy!!!
Today will be EE:
Brekkie - grapefruit, banana, yogurt
Lunch - not sure, maybe stuffed mushrooms as I have 2 huge ones to use up!
Snack - WM pitta (HEB) with something, maybe HM bruschetta topping
Tea - roast chicken, sw roasties, spring greens, carrot&swede mash, green beans, gravy (3), stuffing (2.5ish)
HEA - milk in my many cups of tea!!!0 -
Hi i am wanting to do the slimming world diet, i was going to go to a group, but the one that was near me is closed at the moment and has been for a while due to problems with the roof. I have food directory book that someone gave me a couple of years ago which tells me the syns of food. Im not sure how to work out how many syns to have a day and to work out what foods i am allowed. Can anyone help me please. Also people that don't go to groups, what do you use to write down what you have eaten.Married 09/09/090

I think that's exactly the right idea minxtress. I can't believe just how much better I feel about myself since doing SW. Before, I'd lost interest in doing anything fun, buying clothes, make up etc 'Lipstick on a pig' comes to mind but in a partly literal sense too.:rotfl:
Hope your dad's feeling better Lisa. New day today!
P.S. I've seen the WW scales in Tesco at a good price, maybe anyone who collects points might be interested.
EE for me today:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, HEA milk i tea
L: salad sandwich, applebeef, roast pots and parsnips, carrots, cauli and cabbage, gravy
Syns and Snacks: fruit, wine and gravy.0 -

Have you read the first post on here from consultant? It explains the plan a bit more. Id suggest you buy the SW books off ebay to get you started, and givwe you all the foods you can eat. The ones with Extra Easy plan in are the ones you want really to start you off with.0 -

Welcome in, pull up a seat on the Dizzy tank wagon we have plenty of room
Take the time to read the 1st page of this thread, it has the full low down on doing EE. Syns are 5-15 a day although I believe that 10 is the recommend for EE. Feel free to ask anything you want to know, lots of clever peeps on here.
As a 'go it aloner' [and at target so it can be done] I just use a normal note book which I put columns labled syns/free/HE/superfree and write everything in the correct column. Hope that helps and good luck.
Just to say we are never 'alone' when we're in this room with all the wonderful peeps motivating us all the way :A:A.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
