Well done on the paperwork and job applications front, these things need to be done and they are another job jobbed!
I need a torchwood catch up, captain jack... sighTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Re the garden - one of the things I love about my new house is that I have a patio and a balcony that just require a quick sweep every so often......and a communal garden that someone else looks after and keeps beautiful
Well done on the work experience.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Great work on the garden. Can you give me some motivation to do ours?
9 jobs is a fair number of applications, I would imagine you would get a few interviews out of that lot. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
9 applications, Captain Jack, some garden work done - this is good!
However, missy, I have one point to quarrel with: " it has been a nice evening but too much to do to start then " tsk :rotfl:
Today, I'll be trying to collect - okay, collecting:o:o - the rest of the grass that was cut, tho heaven only knows what I'm going to do with it, the bin is full. But it would be good to get it done. And some weeding while the ground is softer (thats my garden, not yours
)
Seriously DT, hope it all goes well today, you had a great day yesterday, you've got another one today, and you can smile when you think of the garden - thats lovely :kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I haven't watched any of the new DW still mourning the old oneRe the garden - one of the things I love about my new house is that I have a patio and a balcony that just require a quick sweep every so often......and a communal garden that someone else looks after and keeps beautiful

You will have to ask Skint and KC for motivation they did it for me - OK now I'm thinking Jim'll fix it
I am not counting on any interviews Cheri thank you but no thank you would be an improvement on what I have had so far :mad:
Didn't quote KCs post must have hit the limitbut I wanted to say in my defence I meant too much to do in the evening on other things tea, reading course, bedtime etc etc to do the garden rather than the garden itself I am quite prepared to pop out a do a little bit as and when and I am starting to formulate plans for it so that is a definite step forward whereas before I just couldn't see the way ahead literally in some bits
.
The weather is clearing up here so am hoping after the visitors have gone I will get a bit done and I am going out gallivanting again tonight and I am determined it is not my turn to drive :T:T:T:T

Visitors stayed longer than expected which was nice but I missed the weather window and it is now persisting down again :mad:
Didn't get my night out babysitter (OS) had a better offer didn't blame him but was very cross with OH as he didn't really want to go and made that plain and I thought I had made it very clear how important it was to me so ended up in bed in a grump at 8.45pmbut I did get breakfast in bed so I expect that means sorry
Just spent a nice morning all the family playing dominoes and cards and a bit of decluttering so all is well again
