Ooh no! I appreciate that you probably can't go into details here , but would anyone be able to advise you?

    ((((hugs)))))

I have taken advice but was trying to avoid legal letters because I didn't want to upscale the claim but as the other side have instructed solicitors it looks like that will have to go that route and in the end it may be worth the cost because it is making me feel so sick all the time having to deal with it personally - it is OK when you are doing it for clients but when it is for yourself it is a very different matter I dread to think what my blood pressure is like and I really feel quite ill as a result :(

Sorry to hear about the email DT, but at least with replies so quickly hopefully the end will come sooner too.

Are you on linkedin yet for networking for jobhunting, even before the cv is ready you can start building a network of contacts there.

I am on linkedin but as it is a very specialised post I require I am not expecting much from there

Oh DT, sorry to hear it's so bad, definitely dodgey hugs time :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

On the 'specialised post aspect' - if you can find the right contacts linkedin works best then. Though it can depend on how mobile you're able to be with the jobhunt. Hubby's mega specialised in his field, and with his jobhunting all the offers were via linkedin rather than answering job adverts.

Hopefully the specialist cv company will help with advice on the jobhunting approach too.

I'm so sorry to hear the claim situation is this bad .... you're right, instructing a solicitor might be best.

And I do agree with se on the value of linkedin - even if you get an interview through your expected channels, for instance, its realistic that *they* might check up on *you* on linkedin, to see the breadth of what you've got. So to speak :D

Sorry to hear about your nasty reply I really do wish people would think more carefully when trying to get a point across too many people think that words on a screen don't hurt people the way they do on the phone and that's just not the case :mad::mad:

Thank goodness for lovely OH and his coffee and choc :A

All the best with the job hunting xx

I have replied to the nasty email so that is a relief and now it is a case of wait and see.

I am getting stuff together to send to my career coach in readiness for my session on 31st May.

Other than that trying to catch up on paperwork and necessary jobs before Friday when I will be taking my little girl for her op in Alder Hey i will be glad when that is over.

Good day today got quite a lot done busy week to come though so need to keep on top of things

With the Alder Hey op on Friday it's amazing you're managing to concentrate on getting anything done, though I suppose theoretically keeping busy does help. Do take care of yourself too. Hope everything goes smoothly on Friday and that overall things improve for you soon.

I am sleeping lots going to bed early for me but still tired :(

Tackled some more paperwork this morning but energy flagging now

Phone call from OS to say that the nerve conduction test that he had this morning has not gone well and he is very disappointed as am I they reckoned at least 2 years until recovery so now we have to go back to the consultant and discuss the nerve graft/tendon forming options not something a 20 year old wants to be dealing with :(

Good news is that we have just seen on the TV that friends of ours have won the President's award at Chelsea for the best display in the Marquee and a gold medal at their first attempt :D
