Hi DT well done on the shopping - but you've not put in any links yet!!! When can we see what they're like.

    Ok Lewin suit

    and the windsmoor jacket
    and the skirt
Blooming heck the windsmoor took some finding I hope you are satisfied now SE :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Both suits cost me £234 and as the Lewin jacket alone was originally £258 I am very happy even more so cos Mom paid :)

I love the style of the Windsmoor jacket. Now all you need is the job - we'll assume for now that you won't be wearing them to funerals.

Classic styles that with a sparkly or more flamboyant top you could wear for an evening out too, definitely good buys.

Thats what OH said too especially with the windsmoor one which is more feminine - evenings out with my potential long commutes are going to be rare I think :o work and bed for me for a couple of years.

I have the bed bit sorted just need to sort the other :D

Not really trying to get you to spend more cash DT, but is it worth looking for trousers to go with the jackets too while the sales are still on - it's just I think you said black trouser suits were the 'court' uniform when you did your work placement.

Oh and even for work you can soften the look with soft knits in cream or pale silver grey, or silky tops that drape nicely. Those suits are so versatile :)
  • I want that windsoor jacket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the trousers on but they didnt fit either too snug on the bum or way too big on the waist or else I was already one step ahead of you there :D I am very hourglass even the Lewin skirt was tricky the poor man in the shop was very patient and I tried several skirts and trousers on but only the one really fitted and at £22.50 I liked it very much :D

I have seen a trouser suit in Austin Reed which I would go for if they get a bigger jacket in when I get a job but no point buying any more for now
