Just not something you needed at the moment, I guess you wll just need to get some extra rentals to cover the costs. But once you have that dream job costs won't matter
yep that would be it in a nutshell so I am a complete plonkerbut in my defence we thought we had the right insurance I just didn't check but there again - ignoratia juris non excusat - motto at college ignorance of the law is no excuse in this case ignorance of the policy is no excuse
Off to Cardiff today to take son back to Uni so must go and book my hotel hopefully check in later (both to here and to the hotel)

Oh my word, DT - sorry to hear about the claim against you
I thought I was up to date with your thread, but I've missed the reason for a euro cheque completely - was that for the villa too? You can win on exchange rate fluctuations, tho with sods law you're more likely to lose  but there's *always* charges, they're *such* a pain
Cardiff! Say hello to John Barrowman for me2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yes the cheque was for the villa - foreign property who would have had it? Well I would if we could afford to go to it which we can't but hey ho things will be sorted one day.
Sorry no trips to the Bay KC straight home so no temptation to shop but long term plan OS gets fab job and treats his dear old Mom to a nice apartment in Cardiff Bay - a girl can dream.
Staying in my top secret hotel again which saved me £12
I really must ask them what they clean their bathrooms with they always make me smile and I always think that there is water in the sink it is so shiny
Right must get on the road went via Birmingham yesterday to visit friends which was lovely but with traffic problems on M5 causing us to do a long bypass meant a long journey so I am tired and looking forward to getting home again - just a small matter of breakfast first and picking up hundreds of DVDs from OS as he is starting his move home for the summer :rotfl:

Ok I need a vote after investigating CVs etc. and reading Souks very professional one thanks Souk :T I am definitely of the opinion that I need professional help to put a positive gloss on my CV which I am just not going to manage to do on my own
The question is do I wait to hear about the job I have applied for closing date was 2 weeks ago and no interview date set in the job advert or do I go ahead and get my CV done now so that I can send it round to potential employers obviously this is going to cost which would be wasted if by some miracle I got the job I applied for but in the meantime if I don't get the job time is just flitting by - answers on a postcard please :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (or a post on here would do instead)

Hi
Different styles of cv work differently for different jobs, as I discovered when the jobcentre sent me on a cv writing course. and most of the people on the course were looking for 'manual' type jobs.
Or do you mean you need professional help to fill in the gaps, make the best use of what skills you have gained while not in the job market, voluntary work, foster panel etc.
I would start working on it, are there any agencies you can register with as sometimes they'll review your CV for you.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Yep this is the bit I need help with I could set a CV out OK but it is the actual content that will need a lot of work I have identified a firm to help just wondering whether to go for it now and invest a bit more money in me now or whether to wait?

There was someone on here who was an expert in these things but I can't remember who - I'm pretty sure they posted on one of Hypno's diaries.
Is there any one you trust in the profession who could look at your CV, as they will know what they are looking for, how things should be worded, and also how to describe your skills etc using the correct terminology. What you are going for is pretty specialist so unless the firm you are considering paying knows the "lingo" of the occupation etc then it may not be right. One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
2015 - my Amazon Gift Certificate mini challenge - saving to buy small household electrical items.

Sorry to hear about the insurance !!!! up and hope it doesn't cost too much.
I also think showing it to your friend in the same line of work would maybe help as she'll know what they expect...failing that the pay for help.Good luck whatever you decide to do.0 -
I think it might be Northernlass who is an expert and has offered help to others in the past. Maybe send her a PM and ask if she can help you.
Good luck with whatever you decide.0 -

I actually saw him yesterday he was the friend I visited on the way to Cardiff he will make an excellent referee but even he would struggle to put a positive spin on my experience I need an expert in this fieldKeeping_Motivated wrote: »I think it might be Northernlass who is an expert and has offered help to others in the past. Thanks for that KM
I think I have virtually made up my mind to invest in this so I can get my proper job hunting started if I got the job I have applied for I wouldn't care that I had spent this money I would just be so pleased to get the job and in any event as they would provide interview advice as well that should prove useful if they do give me an interview
Thanks for the input
