Cat, big spoons winging their way up to you and hugs thrown in too (((Cat))).

Vanilla, definitely do as Toots says and speak to the hospital - he's in a bad way so surely the hospital will look after him. Happy Birthday to Rhys!

Re windows we're waiting to see if we can get our extension done - the windows in the lounge are so carp it's not true - we can't see out of them as the glazing has blown. These windows have aluminium frames and it's really bleugh. We did upstairs last year and it looks so much nicer; just don't want to do downstairs then decide re extension and have to have them taken out and replaced again!!!

Thanks for all your kind messages the other day - just got in from the GPs; my sore place is she thinks a tiny cyst and she said it's nothing to worry about, phew! I was really wound up before - shaking and everything and almost burst into tears when I saw her. I told her about one of my issues and she is sure my therapist will be able to help on Wednesday. I've never had my anxiety this high before; it's a struggle to get through the day and DH is off to America for 2 weeks the week after next :(.

Flying - none done. Nothing. Nada. Will make the beds though and see how I feel.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHYS :)

Morning all. I've cut the front grass, it barely needed it but as they've forecast rain I thought I'd just run over it.

Made some little fruit cakes and a ginger cake.

Got washing on the line, almost dry.

Started sorting out the airing cupboard which has to be emptied for the new boiler to go in next week. Some stuff in black bags ready for recycling and I've put the Christmas stuff from one of the drawers under my bed into a box to go up in the loft and I've put the single bedding in there. When the cat gets up I can start putting stuff on the single bed until it's done. He'll just have to sleep in one of the three cat beds round the house, or on a chair. Poor thing ;)

Mumoftwo - glad your visit to the doctor was helpful.

    Hi flyfriends

Was babysitting yesterday so I never had a chance to post between that, voting and FiL being released from hospital. FiL tests have revealed he needs op, so we need to now wait for the only dr. in the country who can do it to tell us if he will. It means if it goes ahead he will be treated in Coventry! I'm not to sure they will go ahead though as we have been told it's a worse op thn open heart and I don't think FiL will be fit enough for it:(

Anyway thought I hadn't done anything off my list yesterday but I voted so I did:D

love, hugs spoons to all that are in need today x

Sorry I've not caught up with Fred I'm on p22:o

Mumof2 thats good news about the cyst - well you know what I mean! And also that you felt you could speak to your GP - I hope your therapist will be able to help. TRy to think about DH's absence as a chance to 'break free' and do somethings you want to or eat what you fancy - there are many on here who would love their OH's to go away for 2 weeks:rotfl: - just think what you can do that he normally moans about - you can watch what you like on the box and go to bed when you like etc try to arrange some nice treats for yourself - even just a chat with friends or an afternoon doing your nails or somehting to make the 2 weeks special and not dread it. I know you are saying your anxiety levels are high just now so can you pinpoint whats pushing them up and either avoid them or at least be prepared. I know its easier said than done but you have been doing so well and we are not going to let you slip backwards. well thats another thing - do you really want the flylady elephant and crew arriving on your doorstep - think of the poo to clear up!!!!:rotfl:

FFP sorry to hear abot FiL - if he doesnt get the op will it make a huge difference - will his lifestyle be worse?

ok DN has been and nothing new there - thats it for a month.

    HM soup defrosting for lunch

didnt get my HH knitting as I wanted to check on the election results and then DN came early so will do some now until lunch I think.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Cat finally dragged himself out of bed so I've sorted some more stuff out from the airing cupboard. The winter duvet is now on the single bed, along with spare double duvet covers, sheets and spare pillows. I've got four more bags of stuff for recycling, not sure I can get much more in the shed but I don't want to leave it outside because it's forecast to rain later. Had to vacuum up a load of feathers from an old (very old) duvet!

Thanks so much Toots; you always seem to know just what to say! I've just spoken to Mum & Dad and they're coming up for 3 days which will be lovely.

The children are being a real handful right now; or should I say they seem to be because I'm not 100% so it seems to be a vicious circle - they do stuff which makes me anxious, I react, they react, I get more anxious .... you get the picture. Every day I seem to be worried about something and feel like a bomb about to explode for want of a better word. Think I need to listen to my relaxation tape. I constantly worry DH doesn't love me (I know he does), people don't like me, I'm a pain etc etc etc. The depression is definitely lurking again after I stamped on it so firmly 5 months ago. Happy days :(

Flying wise I've made the beds and emptied the DW. Now going to do S's lunch (and mine) and want to sort washing out. Got someone coming to collect something I advertised recently so can add the grand sum of £5 to my items sold signature!

Mumof2 glad you got on well at the GP. Have you read any of Dr Weeks books on anxiety? Could you get really engrossed with something whilst hubbie is away. Family History? A good book etc

I've done an hour weeding and emptied the DW

Just having lunch and then I'm off out to do another hour. I need to get the veg beds ready the promised rain.

ab7167 don't know if this helps but when we got married (nearly 8 years ago) we both gave up our jobs to run a small business. We take a really low wage and have only had one very small wage increase since then.
DH originally said that he was going to give up his job and I exploded that I wasn't going to keep him! In the ensuing tirade I realised that I didn't enjoy my job that much, even though it paid well, and he was happy for me to join him in the new venture.
We are happy, see more of each other, and have a great lifestyle (our job takes us around the country fairly often). Yes we've had to economise, but we go to the cinema/theatre only when we can get free tickets. Our summer holiday is spent camping. We can go mad in the sales - but mainly for clothes, shoes etc that we need. I agree that it's scary at first, but it can be done. Would I go back to my old job with its good pay and security - no way!! OK it wouldn't be for everyone, but for us it works.

Thanks Dusty. At the moment I'm reading this book - http://www.humangivens.com/publications/how-to-master-anxiety.html (sorry, can't do posh links!) and it's really good but I've only just started it so don't know how to deal with the anxiety; though that will come - I'll have to read faster! I have a lot to do when DH is away and I know the time will go; just hope that the BD that is resurfacing will have peed off by the time he's in USA as I can't cope with that and anxiety.
