Good morning,
Well I voted and have to admit the choise was abysmal.
I have come down with another shocking cold. Had one about a month ago which went on for ages, hop this one is over a bit quicker.
My only plans on the flying front are to do basic dailies and spend a bit more time in DD's cesspit - will bag up all her clothes she left on the floor and may run them through the machine so she can sort them when she comes home and decide what to take back with her. I will probably then be able to get the bedding off and get that washed as well. I have filled a large cardboard box just with all the poitions and lotions she had left lying arround, I'm going to ask her to decide what she wants and then give the leftovers to me - I'll use anything me if it is free:D Just don't want her to bin stuff (she does that - have been known to ransack the bin after she has been 'tidying'.)
Love hugs and spoons to all in need.0 -
Good morning everyone! Just to let you know I'm still around, but one thing and another, vvvvvvv busy
The house continues to stay clean and tidyso for newbies out there, stick with this and eventually you won't need to spend all day cleaning
We had frineds to stay at the weekend and I could prepare by cooking, rather than a mad tidy and swish around, and then relax with them - bliss
DH and I took DD to vote for the first time yesterday, and by the time she voted, she understood the issues and made an informed choice :T
I've been spending lots of time in the garden. Today I have some seedlings to pot on in the polytunnel, but it's wet, so I'll be back on the major Clear out the Garage and Loft declutter mission
Love hugs and sppons to all who need them :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Right, Lemsip down and dishes done. So. I am going to tackle my least least least favourite job of all. In our bedroom, we have a large cardboard box in a corner and it is full to the brim and overflowing with everything in the house that has no other home... It is a moving house box, so we're not talking small here. I can do it a bit at a time with the kids and hopefully today it will be done. My mini-feeling-ill challenge :-)
All you lucky people with rain! My garden needs it! Boot it down Oxford way pretty please...
Pumpking seedlings need planting out, as do tomatoes and pak choi. OH's job for this evening, I think...
The people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind
Getting married 19th August 2011 to a lovely, lovely man :-)0 -
Morning all, been busy here yesterday and sorted the livingroom and kitchen out, Mr T now due this morning and hopefully the front door will be fixed today.
Oh and it's Rhys's Birthday today, he's a big 2. Bit gutted that hubby isn't here for it but thats just the way it is.
Plan today is keep going with the cleaning, hopefully get to the library and maybe get the car cleaned out.
Hope all poorly's are feeling better soon. Love, hugs, spoons and sticks for anyone who needs them.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
im going to have to pull my finger out this weekend. ive got sunday, monday and tuesday off so going to do a bit more packing but in order to do that need to clean the mess in the spare room. think im going to pack most of the dvds, all the cds, some bathroom toiletries and the chest of drawers in our room.
that then means that when we complete, we just have to pack our clothes and personal items, the kitchen bits and the rest of the living room :jand as we are moving round the corner even if we shove stuff in ikea bags and take it round in the car it will be fine. the plan as discussed last night is to ..
confirm order on the sofa
order our bed
decorate our room and the baby room
move the kitchen stuff
then move our clothes and personal bits
then move the rest once furtniture is in.
we are going to have a gap of about 6 weeks between completion and before we have to leave this rented place so its going to work out very nicely and if OH has to go back to sea then i get both sets of parents down to do the decorating and lifting and shifting
still no more done from my flylady list so finish at 5.30 tongith so will do a little more tonight.0 -
skintscotslass wrote: »Oh and teachers! I always wondered why we had so many on the thread. Based on the staff room at the school today...eurgh messy beggars! I ended up cleaning the sink it was sooooo manky and disgusting. So some flying done. Night night xx
I resemble that remark! On the one hand, you are right, how hard is it to wash a mug, on the other...
set your kitchen pinger for 15 min, walk 5 min to the place where the kettle is-make coffee-drink it while talking to 5 different people about 5 different things that have to be done NOW-dash to loo and queue for 5 mins as there are 2 loos for 60 females-wash up mug-walk 5 min back to classroom
has the pinger gone yet?! Which thing would you decide not to do??

Warning heeded - I have NO intention of working THAT hard :rotfl:I have been ranted at by a mum from school though for half an hour because she became muslim while visiting her husbands family in Afghanistan a few months ago and has become a social pariah...she only had me left to speak to lol.. Apparently her 8 y/o was told by his best friend 'I can't play with you any more cos you are a blacky'... I told her to officially complain hrough the governing body.. it makes me so sad and so angry these little boys have been friends since they were 3 and are now not allowed to speak.. why do people want to raise their children hating others? Are we not all exactly the same?
Truly shocking  If we left it up to the children, we would all get along. Prejudice is often learned behaviourPoor kids (and poor Mum too, it her freedom to choose)
Well Good Morning!
I didn't get as much done yesterday as i would have likedI will have to catch up at the weekend.

Vanilla - Happy Birthday for Rhys :j I hope you have a lovely day
Bye bye for now0
