My mum treated me to 3 box files yesterday, I was over the moon! There's a big pile of paperwork that needs to be sorted so I can now get to it! I done a bit when I had 10 minutes spare this morning, very rewarding at 7.30am!

There was a charity bag collection yesterday too, so I've rediscovered the floor in the spot where I was dumping all the stuff to go out!

    1. Organise paperwork - work in progress
    2. Throw out miscellaneous paperwork (ie old leaflets, things that no longer hold any importantance) - work in progress
    3. Clear out the eBay box and either put the contents onto eBay to be sold or get rid of them!
    4. Tidy bookshelf
    5. Completely remove everything from my wardrobe and scrutinise what should be in there, what can go and what needs to go elsewhere - work in progress
    6. Rediscover the floor (harder than it sounds) - work in progress
[STRIKE]7. Analyse clothes in wardrobe and dispose of as appropriate[/STRIKE]
    8. Clean out handbag of stuff that doesn't need to be in there that is making it heavier to carry around
    Thank you competition posters!

I've done a bit tonight but it doesn't look like it.
Tomorrow I am out at the same time I leave for work, and picking a friend up at Liverpool airport. We are then meeting 3 other friends for breakfast, then I am taking her to her hospital appointment about her breast reconstruction. No idea what time I will be home. I'll just have to see what the day brings.
Raining here now, but the garden certainly needs it.

OH has just called - he voted on his way to work and the leader of the council was there (piggers and triker will know who I mean, Carl) asking everyone for their voting number. He got a bit shirty when OH said No. He's our local councillor as well. (and my ex employer until two weeks ago, and I've still not received the promised 'thank you' letter for my 20 years service, grumble, grumble.)

Er, I'm pretty sure he shouldnt have been doing that. Was it within the hall or outwith? I'd be inclined to phone the Electoral Commission to check...hell, just formally complain anyway, its an appalling way to conduct yourself.

I'm knackered...sore back from sitting around all day. Only about 33% turned in my ward. Very disappointing :(

Oh and teachers! I always wondered why we had so many on the thread. Based on the staff room at the school today...eurgh messy beggars! I ended up cleaning the sink it was sooooo manky and disgusting. So some flying done. Night night xx

Dusty kitten - I really really wanted those sort of windows when we did the extension at the back but just couldn't afford it:( Its well worth us saving up for the front as I wouldn't put anything less there.

I've not had mine either! I thought our postie was being a deviant but after putting it on FB I've found a few more of my Brummie friends have not had theirs. Maybe they wrote it on the same calendar as the bin collections...
    .

managed to pull into the polling station with a squeal of bike brakes at 9.55 and voted :j:j:j Foiled the council yet again! Only to realise there there was no-one I wanted to vote for........

What I can't believe is that it took the numpty in the call centre 20 minutes to take my details - I thought he was registering me for the postal vote - but no it was just to get the form to apply to be registered. Needless to say the link to the form on the website didn't work either. Having done bits of secretarial work in lots of different bits of the council a few years back I am not in the least bit surprised by their total and utter incompetence. And don't even get me started on social services..........

    Day off without kids tomorrow:j

I'm going to do 2 hours mad flying from 7 till 9 then get ingredients for wedding cakes, get hair done at 10, race home to make cakes. Work on operation ginormous quilt, do a bit of admin/emails/sorting for next week and bits of gardening. Saturday, I need to nip into town to get me a dress for little sis wedding and a sheet for the quilt backing.

Have only eaten a bagel, half a tin of mushroom soup and a few biscuits in 14 hours of racing around like a blue-@rsed fly today so feel a bit sicky, but its too late to eat now so I'm orf to bed.

    xx

Urrrgghhh have had very bad nights sleep and woken up with a horrible head cold. Why on a day I don't work so I can just boot kids to childminder and call in sick from my bed? No, has to be on a day when I've got to look after the little darlings all day. Not much flying planned now unfortunately, but seeing as I've done about a hundred times more this week than last, I can cope with that. Do we start this flying lark all over again on Monday?

Am feeling like a very horrible person as well, OH told me last night he wants to quit his (very well paid) job and go self employed. He has good prospects for regular bits here and there, but I'm feeling totally unsupportive. I'm very paranoid about our financial security, and this just knocked me for 6. I know he hates it, I earn a reasonable wage (not enough to cover all the bills, but most), but I don't think we would qualify for any benefits to tide us over the initial hump. We have some savings, and OH wants to sell his car, pay off the finance and buy a cheap runaround with what's left so we will have minimal debt.

I'm just being a moody cow as this makes me very nervous. And I feel crap as well

Sorry for moaning, off to do last nights washing up if it is the only thing I get done all day!
