    Hi,

I'm back from my day of running round.
Had a very pleasant time but I'm knackered.
As much as I would like to SOMAADSFA I have to get a shift on.

Off to tackle the kitchen .....

Evening all, well what a gorgeous day it has been here :)

I haven't managed to do much for the last couple of days, sooo tired.
Today I was off work, but I went shopping this morning, I needed new work shoes and DD needed a couple of bits , when I got home I emptied DW did HHI, and HHG plus the WM has been on 3 times today and is all dried and back on my huge ironing pile!!!
I'll try and do a bit more after I've eaten, kids are going to their dad's for the weekend and I'm working :(
  • Managed the bass practice :) and then was off to the doctor's. Nearly forgot what I was there for, but she noticed I was extremely tired and I had actually written it down in a notebook for a change - and taken it with me. Bit of a rejig of meds and I will hopefully get it sorted out - seems like the things I'm taking are having strange side effects (ie, different to everyone else - typical).

Popped into Mr S and spent half the time searching out the basics stuff and tutting at the prices of the fruit, veg & meat compared to the market, and the boring selection. 20p spaghetti wasn't too bad, though.

    Came back and did

    DW
WM unload, peg out and reload
    Plants watered indoors
Litter tray de-yucked, but the cunning plan to encourage splats to go outside seems to be working :j as they didn't use it whilst I was out
Quick S&S of counter and sink
Binbag out with the bit of packaging I couldn't avoid and the contents of DD's bag.

Now DD has requested BLT rolls for dinner. I see no reason why not, so this is what she shall have. As long as she showers first - she smells like a teenager :(
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Thank you so much for all the reassurance, great to hear from other people who took the plunge and survived! I think a long chat is in order, I am totally supportive, just very nervous. I'm a cautious worrier by nature, especially where money is concerned but we have savings and little debt (thanks to Martin!) so it might be a goer.

Onto flying... The box of doom is no more! I ended up chucking most of it as it really was tat, and found 2 full bottles of conditioner. Yay. Headache retreated to acceptable levels, and started work on 2 commissions that are due next week - I make handbags, baby gifts, soft furnishings etc. to bring in pin money. And I enjoy it! Would love to do it more, and will do once DS starts school.

    Evening all :)

I haven't been very good at flying today. I have got lots of little bits done, phoning various people/places I had been putting off, sorting out some paperwork, etc.

I still have a couple of hours, I should get my backside into gear really!

    Glad it's the weekend! :)

ab7167 - a long chat makes a lot of sense. My OH vaguely tried last year when he was between jobs. He is the prince of procrastination, and an acredited DIS-organiser mark III and it just didn't work - he has since said he wasn't in the right frame of mind, and it ramped my stress levels up to maximum at the time. For it to work you have to be passionate and committed to a plan. My advice would be to set clear, measurable, realistic targets with an agreement that if they are not met then he goes back to work. Best of luck with it.

WM is back on, and I have fetched the bedding in. Struggling for energy and motivation tonight. Is it bedtime yet? It must at least be wine'o'clock?

You'll have done better than me for sure - I've made the beds, emptied the WM, put the washing away and made tea!

Oh and teachers! I always wondered why we had so many on the thread. Based on the staff room at the school today...eurgh messy beggars! I ended up cleaning the sink it was sooooo manky and disgusting. So some flying done. Night night xx

    LOL at that

in our staff room we have one teacher who cleans the microwave every week (in true flylady style;) even though I NEVER USE IT (it's so splatter covered)) and another who bleaches mugs regularly. Between us we keep the rest in check BUT 10 or 15 minutes to make a cuppa, drink it, get to the loo... we need TIME!

    anyhoo

    IT'S THE WEEKEND...

    (AT LAST)

    came home
    stripped bed
    washed bedding
pegged it out on the line
    cleaned bathroom
went food tasting (earned £6) had 3 things - now don't need tea ;)

    phew...
