    evening everybody

it has turned into a nice afternoon/evening after all

PepPop welcome to the thread - be sure to read post 1 & 2 thoroughly and if there's anything else just shout. I am sure you will find a difference if you stick with us.
kazw so long as you still have power thats all that matters!

been busy but not as planned.

LL came round to finish rail so I did the research he had asked me for so that is done and out of the way - but it did take 2 hours! Then Mrs LL came round with the amended lease and to chase up Mr LL and then carer arrived for my tea so it was all a bit hectic but all gone and I can get on in peace.

not done much from my list but that was the plan!
    toots xx

Just dailies done today I'm afraid and 1xWM. Going to get the nappies in there in a min once boy is asleep. I have however had my hair cut n coloured and made the 12" chocolate wedding cake and cut out about 100 gumpaste flowers, butterflies and ivy leaves. I just need to dust some lustre powders onto them all creative like and they are ready for the wedding next week. Already had tea with DH and kids so tonight will be making the vanilla sponge cake and operation ginormous quilt. Going to have another quick whizz round the bathroom though while I'm upstairs. Also need to remember to water the planties.

vanilla hope you had a nice day for Rhys' birthday - my boy is 2 in about 6 weeks time

    hello to new people

....and if you think teachers are a grubby lot, you should see the state of the nurses' staff room. (In my defence I am only there 2 days a week and rarely get full breaks. The housekeepers always seem to be on break though...)

it's gone really dark here and just starting to rain - as I watered the vegs tonight I said this will bring the rain on! Had productive day as put the swing and trike on Netmums this afternoon and they're going on Sunday.

Just washed up all the dishes from the last 2 days a few odds and ends and am feeling better as the kitchen looks nicer - a full worktop makes me feel really low. Kids having their hot chocolate and then off to bed; I have a couple of typing jobs to do this evening and don't want to be too late to bed.

Still got my ironing from Monday - anyone want to volunteer to help me out with it? :)

    nuked lunch

    toots xx

Oh dear, a reason not to skim read threads! I just read that as "naked lunch" :rotfl:

Moon has been doing lots of washing today at my request as I was working all day, and also cleaned the kitchen before the kitchen designer came round (also my request).

The new kitchen is going to be a lot more expensive than I thought, as apparently there are lots of new regulations since we put in our last kitchen in the flat, so the fitting isn't so straight forward (need new electrics and allsorts). We fitted the kitchen ourselves in the flat, but this time we wanted to have someone do it for us as it took us weeks until ours was fully functional. We have another company doing a quote and design at the moment too, so will see what happens there.

Froddy thank you so much for your really sweet card and wedding present - it arrived in the post today. :AWe also received an unexpected card and present from my M&D's neighbours yesterday, who have seen me grow up (I babysat for them from the age of 13, and Moon also babysat with me in later years - their eldest daughter is now late teens, so she looks after her siblings now, and I babysat for them when it was just her, and she was a baby.):T

Hugs to AJ and your OH - sorry I forgot to mention it the other day. Hope you and yours are holding up.

Hugs to LadyL - you know I'm free all weekend if you need me.

Hugs to toots, LW and all of my flylady friends who are having a tough time.

    sexymouse xx

Just had to kick cat number 1 off my computer chair. She has never slept on there before?
I have decluttered a KFC. Yum yum.
Junk food obviously suits me cos since then I have cleaned the utility room:
    cleaned windows
    WM
side of WM where the potions live - really gunky
    wiped the tiles
    wiped the units
    wiped the blind
    shone the sink
and cleaned round the sink with a toothbrush
only a tiny room, but by 'eck it looks massive now, probably because before I started I had to put loads of carp away.
Off to see what I can get done in the kitchen before I collapse
    Job well done

    /QUOTE]

Just spent an hour watering here and DS said heavy rain is forcast for tomorrow now. TBH it could rain no stop for 24 hours and still not be enough for the garden right now.

DS2's bed remake and cleaned up from dinner. Just DW and WM to set.

Tomorrow's flying plan will be hoovering upstairs. I also need to go to town and if the weather is not too bad loads more to do in the garden.

Out of interest who has been to Waitrose this week?

I've never been to Waitrose, Dusty, there isn't one near me. Sorry, I know that's not helpful!

I nearly went to Waitrose today while I was in town, but I was very good and came home and used leftovers and creativity for tea :-)

Been for a run, and came home to find OH browsing job websites... Interesting times afoot. Run blown cobwebs away, as ever, and good chat with running buddy (we're doing couch to 10k together, only on week 2 so lots of walking time to chat still :-)

Did washing up before bed! That doesn't happen very often...

Getting married 19th August 2011 to a lovely, lovely man :-)
