Hello all, sun not shining strongly here but around with a few clouds. Taking trousers back to Tesco - small split in the seam after one wearing (and it's not that I've got that fat!). Will look at other trousers, thanks for your advice people. Also going for a run at about 5 - I feel a bit lighter so that should be easier than the last run!
Have assignment to get on with; 248 words down, only 1,752 to go. Doesn't seem to bad when compared to that 4500 word strategy monster I did two months ago!
Have a good one peeps.

Good luck with the assignment, Butti - have been there and done that, and it is such a relief when it is over!
Was on nights last couple of nights so am catching up with stuff at present. I see the Eurovision Song Contest is on tonight - don't even know who or what our entry is, but since all the ex Russian republics joined up and started voting for each other I sort of lost interest. Oh for the days when Abba won with Waterloo - they don't make songs like that any more! One life - your life - live it!0 -
Good luck Butti! I can't believe you're so close to finishing, this last year's gone so quickly!
I didn't realise it was Eurovision night, I was going to settle down in front of the tv for the night, but I think it'll be a book instead. I need to read Bleak House by monday night for my book club.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Had a gigantic tussle in Mr T's tonight. Took my cropped trousers back with their hole. As I can't find my receipt was told that I could have an exchange, but not a credit note as they don't do them! Tried on cropped trousers in not the right colour, work trousers etc. not happy with any. Went back to the desk, no they don't do credit notes. Called the manager over. She had a look at the trousers, proved there was a fault with them by tearing a huge hole in them and gave me my money back.
I then attempted and failed to buy an ink cartridge (if you sell the f****n printer why don't you buy more of that cartridge I was tempted to say but didn't!! What a wuss.) and then bought a Guardian that wouldn't scan.
Honestly I was in a foul mood by the time I left!
Hope you've all had better days. Assignment up to about 550 words now so that's good!
How are you doing Ames?

Good news on the assignment, and the tesco trip sounds like a nightmare!
I'm not too good, I'm sliding backwards fast and don't really know how to stop it. I'm getting close to being unable to leave the house. I was supposed to go to the opera tonight and was gearing up for it but then dad called and I had to make a phonecall about mum stuff and it set me back. I tried to get sister to do it but she 'didn't have time'.
It just feels that for the last couple of weeks every time I've started to pull things back something's happened to stop me.
Anyway, tomorrow (or today) is another chance. I'm going to try and get out to Starbucks with a book. Hopefully as it's pleasant and has no pressure I'll manage it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
