Well as you will all know by now we have a majority SNP goverment here.
Yes, Scotland's looking like a good option on a number of fronts, particularly if you want to work on social housing. I was cold aswell, then we worked out the heater was on summer setting - blowing out cold air!!!:rotfl:
I really don't know whether I can stand another 4 years of that smug !!!!!!! Cameroon. I think we need a few more insults for women maybe so they can realise he's actually Satan (can you tell I'm not happy!)
Up to about 2300 words of a 3000 word assignment - have two to hand in by Wednesday but actually have to hand them in Monday as i have a job assessment on Tuesday and work with my charity on Wednesday. Also have a meeting with potential work experience folkies (well in reality don't think it's potential, think they'll bite my hand off) on Monday...so another quiet week!

Well hello all,
first time on this forum I've had a lovely weekend, quite day at work so finished on time (for once!) so came home got DS1 to help me cut down a tatty, light taking tree and then treated everyone to a meal at F&B (cos they sent me a voucher for £15 off!). Saturday I bought lovely gammon joint for £5 at the market, meal for sat cooked in slow cooker and fat crisped in the oven and loads of ham for sandwiches (and freezer for future sandwiches etc). Also bought, on impulse 10 runner bean plans for £1.75 so those are now planted and some pea seeds which I've planted in a hanging basket, Hope this will work, I've also planted out some of my onion seedlings and re-potted the leeks and I know very little about gardening but the money saving potential made it worth a try! I've been spurred on by the joy of taking sandwiches to work made with homemade bread and home grown salad leaves! Today I've got a few bargains from the local co-op couple of cheap cheese topped bagettes (8p) which I've filled with home-made garlic butter and frozen and some skinless sausages (30p) which I've sliced and frozen to be used as pizza toppings. I've also cut the grass and re-seeded some of the bare patches, now cooking lovely roast chicken from a previous co-op reduced shop smothered in left over garlic butter. Just need to get better at meal planning for the rest of the week. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend too

I was going to have an NSD and then realised I need something for a potential interview so went out and got a frock. Very nice from Wallis. Just been told by a few folk it's too loud for an interview, so will go back to brown dress I already have  It should get some use at work at least, when I get some! Need some trousers too. Apart from last week it's about 6 years since my last interview and my top half is smaller but my hips and !!!! are definately bigger.
Have a test next week and will wear a white blouse (bought with Christmas gift voucher) and my long raspberry skirt. Need to paint toes for sandals. Anyone know where I can get a pair of good cheapish forgiving trousers that look smart?

What housey stuff u stressing about then Beanie???
Had an email from Head of Maths at school, apologising that although the letter was prepared some weeks ago due to an error it wasn't sent out till last minute....they will allow him a little longer to resit it so that's good...boys eh??? DD is a maths star, DS (although not at all dim) is hopeless....any maths teachers or special needs experts out there??? He seems to have a condition where maths facts just don't stick in his head..he can spell, punctuate, all the stuff boys struggle with, but he still can't remember maths basics...like long division..now I know i've done that with him many times over the years, but faced with an equation or a fraction or basic division sum it's as if he's never seen one before..completely new to him !!Dyscalculia anyone??Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -
Hi all,
Sorry not been around for a while, lots of stuff going on and have taken the decision to drop out of my OU course until next year. Plus I can use the course fee to pay off my debt quicker!
Lots of love,

Hi all, only popped on to echo what Tenmah said to Butti - I've got smart trousers from both Mr S and Mr T - think I paid £6 per pair and they wear really well.0
