Hi all,
I feel a bit of a fraud starting the thread, as these days i actually no longer need to bring my lunches in as Ive started a new job which provides them!
However, the work lunches thread was such a good one it would be good to start it again. I look forward to seeing everyones lovely lunches as the month goes on - my lunches at work are uninspiring (now living in Uganda where the local food is nothing to write home about, sadly) so I will live through you all in culinary terms
As usual, set yourselves challenges if you'd like!

Hello NTBY, not seen this challenge b4, please could you explain how it works?
chrisYNAB is my new best friend.0 -
OK - I'm game ......................... different though as I work from home.
So lunches will be planned in advance and diet friendly (I'm doing SW Green BTW) - and hopefully provided mostly from my storecupboard with minimal spends to my weekly budget.
If my target is to lose 9lb per month - then lunches equal 3 lbs of that.

I'd like to join if I may
I'm usually very good at this challenge but lost my way a wee bit last month so I want to go for EVERY WORKING DAY this month to be a lunch from home moment .

Which means tomorrow can't be a NSD as I need to get a few things in :eek:DFW Nerd Club # 13640 -
Hi Chris - easy peasy, just set yourself a challenge on the number of lunches you want to bring in from home. Most people pop in every working day to tell us what they've eaten so we can give each other ideas!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

i'm aiming to do 18 our of a possible 19, have gotten into the bad habit of eating in the canteen and paying too much for mediocre foodknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Can I join please!
I'm aiming for all days - 18 to 20 days - havent decided if I'm having a day or two off yet.
Have been very good at taking my food in recently - cash machine at work charges 1.80 to get money out - great incentive to not spend.
Also looking to lose some weight so memory girl will be watching your lunches very closely!0 -
ok hm spicy tomato & lentil soup for me, loads of satsumas that need using up, an apple & a banana for me today - hope it gets me thru the mid afternoon slump! xDF as at 30/12/16

I'd love to join you all if I may, I normally take lunch with me but joining you all will make sure I do -buying lunch at work can vary from £1.50 for soup up to £3 for a main meal which doesnt sound too much but when you realise that you can make soup for the whole week for £1.50 It makes you think.
Ive got left over chicken fried rice for today (have a microwave at work:))
If its 20 working days this month then I'll take the plunge and try all of them - have a good day.LBM March 2011 (what on earth took me so long?)overdraft (1) -2950 overdraft (2) -246.00total CC £12,661 :eek:loan £5000DFD 2016:eek::eek: (cant come soon enough)0 -
