I totally agree, i would be fuming and without haste be straight on the phone to CS whilst firing an email to Philip. absolutely no way to treat a loyal customer who is partaking in Tesco's Price Check Promotion.

Bought 2x meal deals today with vouchers. both recipes given back unsigned, result.

Why is it a result? Should I have got mine back.
I think we both shop at the same Tesco!

Could you please keep it to yourself and not post it here please - the reason the SS thread was closed is because of that. You know what I am talking about and you know who you are. SO PLEASE don't post it Tesco staff/management are reading it too.

I was trying to spend a £20 voucher but the bloody head trout at my local who always gives me attitude anyway and seems to have a problem with me, wouldn't let them accept it. They said that is 'her discretion' and that she thought it was a bloody photo-copy! When i walked out I said to them "you can put all that back then" (good on you - this is what some of us will do too ) which i feel a bit bad about ( don't feel bad the staff deserve it!!)but god, was so embarrassing :(.

Below is unrelated issue but to make you feel better - Its not up to that Stupid "Head" Trout to decide what coupon can & cannot use - you should have gone to the customer service desk. Anyway if you wish to write to HQ below is the email.

Once they reply back - print it out & ask to see the Manager & tell him/her which idiot it was & show him/her the email & see what he said.

Subject: Re: Email to Tesco Chief Executive's Office

Thank you for your email to our Chief Executive's Office, to which I have been asked to respond.

It is concerning to learn that the Checkout Assistant has kept your original receipt when redeeming your price check voucher. I appreciate this must have been quite inconvenient for you because you had purchased an item of clothing that you may need to return. For this I am very sorry.

I have contacted the store and made them aware that this was the incorrect process. We ask that all receipts are signed after the price check voucher has been redeemed. This is to prevent people from abusing the spirit of the scheme. However, this Checkout Assistant should not have been informed to keep your receipt.

All stores are given the same brief to follow and I apologise if the xxxxx store has not been doing this. All staff members that are unsure of the procedures relating to price check will be fully briefed again to prevent an incident like this occurring.

Thank you for contacting the Chief Executive's Office and allowing us the opportunity to clarify this for you.

    Kind Regards

    Louise Skelly

I am *livid*, just got back from T's, was trying to spend a £20 voucher but the bloody head trout at my local who always gives me attitude anyway and seems to have a problem with me, wouldn't let them accept it. They said that is 'her discretion' and that she thought it was a bloody photo-copy! I asked why and they said because It is in black and white! Duh, because I printed it from a black and white printer....so angry and upset right now. When i walked out I said to them "you can put all that back then" which i feel a bit bad about but god, was so embarrassing :(.

Oh my gosh, thats disgusting behaviour. I hope you had her name and you should ring CS and complain. Also the letter someone has printed would be fab, how good would you feel taking that back in and seeing her smug face change!!:T

did you try the wine at the till? it's not together with all the meal deal stuff, you just grab it from the wine aisle... but it went through ok...
and it's good the other meals come back n/a as it's only the wine that gives you a voucher ;)

    1. You need to stick inh a Turners and see if it scans at till as £10 for the deal. If not, don't get it. But it will.

    2. Yes - the food items will be N/A, nae problemo with that.

You have to stick in a Turners for it to work. Lookj for them in the wine section.

I did my first meal deal x2 earleir and the turners chard worked as part of it.

However a few of my items didnt work so i asked the boy at the till he says best to just pay and sort it out at CS.

Ok so i did and the girl worked out which items were not included ( i picked up the baked pots side and beef with tomato/wine sauce)

She kindly refunded the items and sold them to me again....now i have two receipts and not sure which one to use. Any advice....? do i use the original one or the Cs receipt which looks just as if i had bought the itemns at a regular till.

Also i have a few receipts from the other day but is it a limit now of only one per day? I havent used the pricechecker in a while....so much so that i couldnt find it even on the website and someone on here had to give me the link...thanks..
