Great story. However "troutism" or to give it its Latin name, "Pisces Tescum", is a genetic complaint which tends to become more pronounced after middle age but it can set in, in extreme cases, shortly after puberty. There is no known cure.

hahaha! 1st class. I' in fits of laughter here. Thank you for brightening up my day.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

  • I am *livid*, just got back from T's, was trying to spend a £20 voucher but the bloody head trout at my local who always gives me attitude anyway and seems to have a problem with me, wouldn't let them accept it. They said that is 'her discretion' and that she thought it was a bloody photo-copy! I asked why and they said because It is in black and white! Duh, because I printed it from a black and white printer....so angry and upset right now. When i walked out I said to them "you can put all that back then" which i feel a bit bad about but god, was so embarrassing :(.

If it were me I'd be on the phone to Tesco CS right now, did you get that mean old trout's name? She's breaking the T&Cs of the promotion.

I totally agree, i would be fuming and without haste be straight on the phone to CS whilst firing an email to Philip. absolutely no way to treat a loyal customer who is partaking in Tesco's Price Check Promotion.

Bought 2x meal deals today with vouchers. both recipes given back unsigned, result.

You have to laugh! :D 4 unsigned receipts for me too! - some big, some small. :o How long has this Price Check promotion been going and still the staff don't have a bliddy clue. I had to 'hot house' my CS as she had never seen one and didn't know what to do ;)
DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!
