Congratulations, to you both, very exciting for you, I have just become a Nanna for the first time, 10 days ago, after my Son and his Wife, had been undergoing fertility treatment, Luckily she got pregnant with clomid, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

P.S. It's amazing that you've been trying for quite some time and have never done a test.

Hubby and I have been trying for just under two weeks and already I've done two (knowing full well that they can't be positive) :rotfl:

That just made me chuckle :D

Congratulations OP! It's wonderful news you are pregnant after 2 years of trying. You will have to let us know how you tell your husband and what his reaction is :)

Im feeling totally shocked, but in a really lovely way. Keep going to look at the test result to make sure its true. Have been pinching myself to make sure I am not dreaming all this.

The phone hasn't rung. Normally my family phones up for a chat of an evening. Am pretty glad they haven't tonight as I know I would have this silly giggly laugh and a kind of hysterically happy voice.

Want to keep this pregnancy completely underwraps and just between hubby and I till we are past 12 weeks. Except for all you on here of course, oh and my 168 mates on facebook :o Yeah right so much for keeping it just between the 2 of us hey. A girls allowed to be excited though, right.

You must take wee drenched stick to show husband.

Can't believe you have never taken a test before though. I've known people trying who have peed on tests as a more or less daily routine whilst trying to conceive 'just in case'.

Best of luck! Hope the time flies before the first scan (so somebody can tell you exactly how long you have to wait).

Not to panic you but I had a bleed when I was pregnant (hence managing not to know I was pregnant!), so you may even be further than you know :rotfl:

i didn't believe my test with this baby. i think i ended up doing 6 or 8 tests, lol. even when i went for the scan i kept my eyes cloesed till scanner said she saw the baby. i just was in shock i think. even tho baby was planned i fell so quick after our last baby took so long to fall for.

considering how soon i knew, i'm surprised it took so long for it to sink in.

Enjoy every minute. your gonna have a huge grin now and not stop giggling or smiling.

Have decided how I am going to break the news to hubby.

Am going to pop to Waitrose in the morning and buy his favourite cookie from their bakery. Will ask them to ice the word 'daddy' on it.

When I get to the airport I will grab him a coffee and hand it to him with his cookie. Knowing my like he will be ravenous and devour it without even looking at the wording (he never eats airline food).

Will take along test stick as back up, but not hand to him at same time, lol.

Spoilsport. This was the best part of the story, obliged to keep cookie as keepsake due to handfull of soiled urine stick putting him off cookie.

Your comedy timing needs work. ;)
