Quick question (may seem silly) but why is everyone adding tea tree oil to shampoo? What does it do thats so special?

Currently two hand creams are spluttering, taking ages to use up!! A deodorant is on its way out...And still stuck using horrible mandarin smelling shampoo and conditioner!

Haha - I got her little handbag mirror in the sale, think it was £1.25 and considering I needed a new one anyway I figured that was alright but certainly would never have paid the full £8 :eek: The stupid thing is they are still selling it for over £5 even now :rotfl:


Im cooking a new meal this evening and am totally freaking out about it - its a cross between hotpot and stew haha totally made up the ingredients - mushrooms, onion, beef and butter beans etc. No idea what its going to be like - tried to make carbonara last night which turned out utter pants

I got the hatbox in the 75% sale for the box, I would never ever have paid full price for it :eek: The contents were terrible :eek:

Afternoon ladies - UU Nivea Q10 30ml sample size body lotion - I like the smell of this but dont think it really did much for my wobbly bits!

UU sanex roll on - onto a Mitchum stick now

The Too Faced lash injection mascara has gone to my DD's as I just couldnt get on with it. Teenagers love that clumpy mascara look where as I like long lashes. I have told them they dont know how lucky they are to have got that one! LOL So I have now got a Rimmel 123 out of the stash that I won but to be honest I am not loving this either! Will perservere a bit longer with it.

Also Ted Baker bath stuff now emptied into a handwash bottle as it will get used up quicker that way!

Woo! after going through all the paperwork in the house I finally found OH's bank statement for the mysterious account, registered him for online banking so just have to wait now for the activation code to be posted to his parents address, then I can [STRIKE]steal the money[/STRIKE] sort out his accounts....he's too laid back about the whole thing, doubt he'd ever notice if that money ended up in an account with my name on it

I add tea tree oil to my shampoo rather than buying a special dandruff shampoo and saves on having the extra bottles in the bathroom.

I sometimes get a dry itchy scalp and dandruff and have found that adding tea tree oil to my normal shampoo works better than most medicated shampoos I've tried.

I am surprised too that Boots are going with Fearne's range again. I never bought any of it - not even tempted by 75% off.

My Sure roll on is now a UU. WBA if on offer. This morning I used a mitchem roll on for the first time (as recommended by you lovely ladies). Will see how I get on with it. I now don't have any roll ons in the stash :j...now the sprays are another story.

Plan on PYON tonight as they are chipped. Not sure what colour yet - might open my new freebie Nails Inc Teal

I like the John Frieda 3 day straight, have naurally wavy hair and find I can go a couple of days without getting the straighteners out!!

Charlie - Glad you found the bank details, for anyone else there is something on MSE where you complete a form and tick which bank you think you had an account with and they come back to you with any dormant accounts you have with them.....

One UU - Botanics skin brightening gel - one more in the stash but can't see any benefit from it, so wont be buying any more
