Motorola L6 on O2 £49.99 + £75 HMV Voucher

Hi received my phone and vouchers, 3 of the vouchers have worked and got credit into my HMV E Wallet tried several times with the other two codes just geting text reply unfortunately pin incorrect re enter.

Has any one else had this problem sent an E mail to address given no reply as yet

These are L6 I-mode not standard L6. They're different, made by Mitsuibishi I think (some of the innards anyway).

I can't remeber exactly what it is with these phones, because they're a pain to unlock so I don't normally bother with them, but to quote Kryptic from Rpoints,

"These are iMode phones and don't have a wap browser, so you will only be able to use calls and text on other uk networks i.e. no browsing as far as I understand it. So switching them to another network other than O2 will limit their usability."

Sent 3 of my 8, from my o2 contract sim.
will retry with another orange sim

I've only tried one of my vouchers, text came back hours later and the voucher code didnt work on the HMV website :mad:

Sent an e-mail to the address given, hope I get a reply fairly soon or I'll just bundle it all up and send it straight back to o2.

same has happened to me.two codes are incorrect and now im not even getting any replies when i text them for the last 36 hours

I have done one set of 5 voucher code texts from a t-mobile phone - all 5 back and on HMV e-wallet within 10 minutes

The other set of 5 from an o2 phone - and I've heard nowt - the irony!
