lots of these vouchers on ebay now. However, I've noticed interesting bidding patterns from one ebayer, who seems to be buying up the lot (as well as other vouchers) using a university address. I think there is a big scam going down - hope noone has sold theirs on Ebay using PayPal recently !!!

Did anyone else recieve a text back containing an invalid voucher code?

HMV website isn't accepting the one I have and I'm scared to try the other four in case I need to send it all back to o2 and tell them where to stick it!

well call hmv and see what they say...

I suggest to anyone who has sold there HMV vouchers on ebay to wait for the money to clear before they send out the vouchers. It is very easy to get someone else's account and pay for your own items and scam people and then they can use the codes and not much u can do. The money will come to you and then be taken out the next day. This is why i wait 5 days when selling something expensive as i got scammed on a psp earlier this year. THe money was in my account then it was gone....i was very !!!!ed off and i cudnt do much. Still havent got payed for that psp....

I think this deal was brilliant, i got the 150 on my hmv and im ordering the xbox 360 very soon, im selling my psp to get about 150 and with that 150 ill have 300 to buy the xbox. If anyone is selling there vouchers just send me a PM.

I agree, but this doesn't really apply to Paypal where a stolen credit card could go unnoticed for quite a while. Months later you could be hit with a chargeback - they guy on Ebay seems to be going for the PayPal auctions.

Ive only received 2 codes from over 24hrs ago now. Have emailed and tried a different network to o2. Havent recieved an email reply and text back claimed code was invalid (guess indicating it has already been processed by them) I would recommend others use a non-o2 network.

I used this code on o2, never got a reply, used it on Virgin a few hours later and got two replies, one containing voucher code and one saying the PIN was invalid.

Then to top it all off, the voucher code in the text doesnt work at HMV! Called HMV a few minutes ago and they are looking into it.

Sent the codes on my O2 contract phone and have had nothing for nearly 24 hours. Just sent one on my wive's (O2 contract) phone and got a response in about 10 seconds, but it was saying the code was invalid!!!

Sent an e-mail, but but they sounds of it they will have a lot to answer on Monday morning!

Hmm whole thing sounds a bit of mess. Their inbox must be full. Amusing how every network but o2 receives quick replies (even if just to say invalid). Have texted a different code using orange sim and again received a quick reply that it was invalid. Did people who emailed them include their codes?
