It isnt on my asda site thou, not the same one as on the tescos one. I had this with that fairy gel aswell, it was on tescos but not in any asdas in bristol or on my web site .0 -
U got to undeestand that they refund the differemce meaning any voucher u get is simply counteracting a higher price uk paid from uee last shop. And mocs can be used on at both so have zero effect its l ilk e a math equation were x +y=z+y brcause y is on both sides its meaningless... Then looking at x=z... X is tescos price minus the diference qhich equals asdas price.
You been watching good will hunting ?0 -
please folks, do not photocopy vouchers if they have a single use barcode on them like the savvy ones! This is one of the reasons that the coupon use was tightened up as Tesco can only claim them back once.
Fair enough if they are the coupons that can be printed many times then yes, but other than that just use a different computer!
So, removing the printing software and re-registering is the way to go then? Plus, going through a proxy or switching off router may be a good idea.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

It's not good for EVERYBODY, I'll give them that, but for those without an ASDA nearby, it's still pretty damn good.
As (I think) karlie88 said, if someone posted a Grabbit telling of how you could get groceries for next to nothing, it would have been huge pre-DTD, now it's a bit poo!10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

I read it and I read on the final DTD thread. It is not a moneyspinner. You are merely getting back the money you have been overcharged in Tesco.
It's like - you go out shopping and you have £7.50 cash in your pocket.
Scenario 1 - Asda: That'll be £4.50 please - you pay £4.50.
Result 1 - you have paid £4.50 cash and it's all over and done with. You still have £3 cash in your pocket to spend as you choose.
Scenario 2 - Tesco: That'll be £7.50 please - you pay £7.50.
Initial Result - you have no cash left and you have to go home and enter your receipt details online.
Result 2 a - You get back a N/A on the items, you have paid £7.50 for stuff that would have cost £4.50 in Asda. You have no cash left.
OR
Result 2 b - You get back a £3 voucher which you can only spend in Tesco. You have no cash left. The £3 voucher represents the money you would NEVER HAVE SPENT had you shopped in Asda in the first place.
Whether or not you pay with part of your shopping with coupons is entirely irrelevant as the coupons are worth the same in Tesco as in Asda.
The only possible reason why anyone would choose scenario 2 would be if they cannot shop in Asda, or if they are prepared to go through all that hassle just to bump up their clubcard points.0 -
Thats fine but stop making it out as uf u went to tesco it would be better. Other than dustance to store (petrol costs) and extra clubcard points there no difference in ure calcs. They are gundamentall th flawed as orice check makes price eqial asdas and coups used at both...
I'll repeat, one final time: for ME it IS better to go to Tesco, even with this promo in its current form. It may also be for others. You even state, 'other than x and y' there's no difference - so there IS a difference then: distance and ClubCard points!10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
OK I'll quote myself, just so that people 'get it'.Absolutely there are still some advantages to be gained for the canny shopper.
- If Wizzos Delight is £10 in Tesco and £5 in ASDA, you buy it in Tesco and they'll give you a £5 voucher, but you'll still get the clubcard points on the £10 that you spent.
- If Wizzos Delight is £10 in ASDA and £5 in Tesco, you buy it in ASDA and they'll give you a voucher for £5.50, because they promise they'll be 10% cheaper.
Antrobus's Law still applies. If it's cheaper in Tesco buy it in ASDA, and if it's cheaper in ASDA buy it in Tesco.
Happy shopping!
Now granted, this is not as exciting or as lucrative as DTD. But getting a 10% discount on your shopping is better than a hole in the head, and extracting some bonus clubcard points from Tesco is better than slap in the face with a wet fish.0
