  • If I can I will start to look through tesco and asda websites to see if I can find some smaller items which will be a good money spinner for us.

There are vouchers for Dairylea Strip Cheese 8's at Dairylea website....50p off. These are £1 at ASDA at the moment.

Also vouchers for Philadelphia somewhere 50p off also. Also £1 at ASDA I believe. HTH
  • This is only worthwhile if you don't have an Asda nearby. If you have an Asda it would go like this:

Day 1 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.

Day 2 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.

So far, you have four bottles for ZERO outlay.

    Day 3 - repeat Day 2.

So far, you have six bottles for ZERO outlay.

If you don't have an Asda or don't want to shop in Asda, then fine, do the above. But it's a lot of bother for absolutely no return - all you are achieving is getting your shop for the same price as you would have done had you gone to Asda in the first place, with added hassle to boot. And you run the risk of a N/A result.

If you've got money-off coupons - use them to buy the product in the cheapest supermarket for that product.

How can I get 4 coupons off that site please ? I have just tried under diff email addy and it says that my ip addy has already been logged.

    £1.74 at Tesco
    £1 at ASDA
Got a small voucher to use? Let's say you have £4. Buy four: £5.96, minus 4 x 25p vouchers = £4.96 to pay. Use £4 voucher = 96p cash to pay. Receive voucher back for £2.96. Use this to buy 5 x Fairy Fabric Softeners at £8.50, use five Fairy £1 off vouchers to bring total down to £3.50, use £2.96 voucher, pay 54p cash. Receive voucher for £3.50. Repeat cycle. Do all of this at self-service.

I've posted this on the final DTD thread but here is another take on this example:

    1) Go into Asda, buy 4 salads = £4 to pay.
    2) Go into Asda, buy 5 Fairy Fabric Softeners, use 5 £1 off vouchers = nothing to pay.
Repeat 2) for as long as you are able to find £1 off vouchers.

Total outlay = £4 and you still have your £4 voucher from DTD to spend on the best offers that Tesco may have.

It may be useful if don't have an Asda or don't want to shop in Asda, but as a money-making venture, it's a non-starter. There is nothing to be gained from endlessly going through the above process. You are merely breaking even while giving yourself a great deal of hassle. You also run the risk of Tesco returning a N/A - this seemed to happen randomly and inconsistently throughout the DTD promotion.

All you are achieving with this process is getting your items for the same price as you would have done had you gone to Asda in the first place. So if you can, go to Asda in the first place.

Sorry, I know I'm repeating myself a bit - I just can't understand why people think this is a good earner, it just isn't.

    are you tired too?

this thread at the moment...it's nothing big. no £££££s to be made unlike the last few weeks.

however, over a a course of a week, you could easily get a few £££s.

just wait...i'm sure things will improve. we've only just planted the seeds for this thread.

I recon this could be a good little money spinner, if you read what adam wrote in the beginning on how you just build up your coupons.
