The omly merit of this is distance to asda u are simpky getting price u woukd pay at asda. I.e in ure example two cond is 3 40. and diff is 1 40 meaning its 2 pound at asda for two

Day 1 buy two at asda for 2 pound... Use the two 1 pound coupons meams u got two for free

    Day 2 etc etc repwat

Its same.... Think about it. Coupons can be used at eitger and tesco difference coupon gives asda price if asda cheaper. No real deal here just couponing

not everyone is close to an asda.

the fairy fabric conditioner is an example. there will be better examples. e.g. imagine a frijj milkshake on offer at A for 50p and the normal RRP of £1 at T. sometimes, you get a coupon that allows you to purchase an item for free. the coupon will deduct the cost of the item (up to a certain value). so in this case, it would deduct 50p at A and £1 at T. buy the above item at T, present the coupon and get the milkshake for free. submit receipt details and you'll get a 50p voucher too. this above example may not happen often, but it's certainly possible.

also, you get clubcard points at tesco. at asda you could get 2 fairy fabric conds for free, but at tesco you'll get them for free plus CC points. 6 points (£3.40) plus 2 green points = 8 CC points. CC rewards can give you as much as 24p back for that amount. over time, this will add up quite nicely.

i hope what i've written makes sense...i'm very tired! gonna hit the hay....

I'm off to bed all. Been a difficult day at work, and the demise of the DTD isn't good.. but hopefully we can get some rewards... even if that's just not having to read 50 threads in a day on the DTD thread, will be something!

    Goodnight midwinter, sleep well.

This is only worthwhile if you don't have an Asda nearby. If you have an Asda it would go like this:

Day 1 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.

Day 2 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.

So far, you have four bottles for ZERO outlay.

    Day 3 - repeat Day 2.

So far, you have six bottles for ZERO outlay.

If you don't have an Asda or don't want to shop in Asda, then fine, do the above. But it's a lot of bother for absolutely no return - all you are achieving is getting your shop for the same price as you would have done had you gone to Asda in the first place, with added hassle to boot. And you run the risk of a N/A result.

If you've got money-off coupons - use them to buy the product in the cheapest supermarket for that product.

I don't have an Asda near me, otherwise I would,
  • Lol - I once went out with another Northie and they said that Northies and Westies don't mix but never really understood the differentiation that much - to me we're all White Roses / Yorkies :)

Adam - I'm guessing you're a Red Rose but nonetheless we are all bound together by the pleasure gained of DTD and Moneysaving - I'll try and reccie out some deals tomorrow to add to the list :)

Note to all coupon printers: I've changed the SuperSavvyMe link in the first post of this thread to the correct one for the Fairy Softener, thanks to a poster here. Please ensure you have the right one printed!

24p and triple on club card rewards, could soon add up to be a nice bit of rewards.

Yes, I am Simon - although hopefully not defined by birthplace (a completely random occurence, after all!).

As for new deals, I'll also be hoping for some misprices tomorrow. I need something decent to spend my big vouchers on!

Lets not forget if u ask for a clubcard and say you not got one . u get a card with no details asked and get a voucher for £7 pound of a fifty pound spend .
think may come in useful for people who shop at tesco anyway. could use to get rid of any 20 pound dtd vouchers you got left.

Lets not be negative about the thread and although this wont be as lucrative as dtd, am sure there will be something for the savvy cottager to get his mits into.:beer::beer:
