Thanks Adam. I'm going for two conditioners tomorrow also, I can't print more than two coupons anyway. Also I conveniently have a £2 odd DTD voucher from purchasing an incorrect/unmatched item.0

The omly merit of this is distance to asda u are simpky getting price u woukd pay at asda. I.e in ure example two cond is 3 40. and diff is 1 40 meaning its 2 pound at asda for two
Day 1 buy two at asda for 2 pound... Use the two 1 pound coupons meams u got two for free
Day 2 etc etc repwat
Its same.... Think about it. Coupons can be used at eitger and tesco difference coupon gives asda price if asda cheaper. No real deal here just couponing
Okay, let's use a different example:
Day 1 - Buy one Florette Crispy Salad, use 25p off coupon, pay £1.49 cash. Input receipt, get voucher for 74p as item is £1 at ASDA.
Day 2 - Buy one Florette Crispy Salad, use 25p off coupon, use 74p off voucher, pay 75p cash. Input receipt, get voucher for 74p.
Day 3 - Repeat Day 2.
On this one, you're getting the product for 26p less than ASDA on shop two. By the fourth time buying this product, you're paying less than ASDA's price.
Obviously, the more products we find with applicable ASDA cheapness and coupon goodness the better as a full shopping basket can be built up. There's no reason, for instance, that so far we could tomorrow buy two Fairys and two Florettes at once, thus combining both shops and building up voucher value, same as before (except no DTD).
We just need more items, hence this thread!10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
Brilliant idea Adam! I think we should keep this going and pressurising Mr T into lowering its prices.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Day 1 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £3.40, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay £1.40 in cash. Input details into Price Check, get voucher for £1.40 back.
Day 2 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £3.40, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay £1.40, use voucher, pay nothing in cash.
So far, you have four bottles for £1.40.
Day 3 - repeat Day 2.
So far, you have six bottles for £1.40.
This is only worthwhile if you don't have an Asda nearby. If you have an Asda it would go like this:
Day 1 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.
Day 2 - Buy two Fairy Fabric Conditioners, total £2.00, use two £1 off coupons, total to pay ZERO.
So far, you have four bottles for ZERO outlay.
Day 3 - repeat Day 2.
So far, you have six bottles for ZERO outlay.
If you don't have an Asda or don't want to shop in Asda, then fine, do the above. But it's a lot of bother for absolutely no return - all you are achieving is getting your shop for the same price as you would have done had you gone to Asda in the first place, with added hassle to boot. And you run the risk of a N/A result.
If you've got money-off coupons - use them to buy the product in the cheapest supermarket for that product.0 -
To be honest, I think I've gone a little mental. I panicked as soon as I read DTD was over as I was going to miss my daily trips to Tesco! I work around the corner most days anyway, so for me this system is perfect - couple of different items I can easily carry home, rather than rucksacks, holdalls and carrier bags full of stuff.
I just wanted to avoid withdrawal symptoms and now I can continue stocking up on essentials for pennies! And hopefully that'll apply to at least a few others, too.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

I'm off to bed all. Been a difficult day at work, and the demise of the DTD isn't good.. but hopefully we can get some rewards... even if that's just not having to read 50 threads in a day on the DTD thread, will be something! The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
