If u can somehoe find items that help u reclaim part of coupon back then thats way to maje it cheaper. I.e item is one pound tesco and 50p asda. U have coup for a free item so ay tesco u get one pound off and get the 50p asfa difference.
Are there any items l ok ke that were u would get more at tesco for coupon than asda?
Now that would work. But I would have thought there are few vouchers like that, great idea though.0 -
are you tired too?
this thread at the moment...it's nothing big. no £££££s to be made unlike the last few weeks.
however, over a a course of a week, you could easily get a few £££s.
just wait...i'm sure things will improve. we've only just planted the seeds for this thread.

Day 1 - Buy one Florette Crispy Salad, use 25p off coupon, pay £1.49 cash. Input receipt, get voucher for 74p as item is £1 at ASDA.
Day 2 - Buy one Florette Crispy Salad, use 25p off coupon, use 74p off voucher, pay 75p cash. Input receipt, get voucher for 74p.
Day 3 - Repeat Day 2.
On this one, you're getting the product for 26p less than ASDA on shop two. By the fourth time buying this product, you're paying less than ASDA's price.
Obviously, the more products we find with applicable ASDA cheapness and coupon goodness the better as a full shopping basket can be built up. There's no reason, for instance, that so far we could tomorrow buy two Fairys and two Florettes at once, thus combining both shops and building up voucher value, same as before (except no DTD).
We just need more items, hence this thread!
Ure noy being very clear in ure examples and unfortunately am using mobile to chat
Ure salad example coupom is 25p. And item costs 1.75ish. Please if u do example state pricr of asda tesco and couo value. Make easier to see.
U state Buy one Florette Crispy Salad, use 25p off coupon, pay £1.49 cash. Input receipt, get voucher for 74p as item is £1 at ASDA. Net effect is u paid 1.49 and got 74p back so it cosy u 75p cash.
Regardless of u doing same shop tomorroe u will still have to top up with 75p a day. Now look at asda.
In asda.... Buy one ar 1 pound. And use vpucher is same net effect.i.e. 75p a day0 -

I've posted this on the final DTD thread but here is another take on this example:
1) Go into Asda, buy 4 salads = £4 to pay.
2) Go into Asda, buy 5 Fairy Fabric Softeners, use 5 £1 off vouchers = nothing to pay.
Repeat 2) for as long as you are able to find £1 off vouchers.
Total outlay = £4 and you still have your £4 voucher from DTD to spend on the best offers that Tesco may have.
It may be useful if don't have an Asda or don't want to hassle. You also run the risk of Tesco returning a N/A - this seemed to happen randomly and inconsistently throughout the DTD promotion.
All you are achieving with this process is getting your items for the same price as you would have done had you gone to Asda in the first place. So if you can, go to Asda in the first place.
Sorry, I know I'm repeating myself a bit - I just can't understand why people think this is a good earner, it just isn't.
asda says they are cheaper than t, if not u get 10% difference, so therefore you get 20p from asda. (however you need 2 buy 8 different items to make this work)
i think that's how it works anyhow!0 -
also, you get clubcard points at tesco. at asda you could get 2 fairy fabric conds for free, but at tesco you'll get them for free plus CC points. 6 points (£3.40) plus 2 green points = 8 CC points. CC rewards can give you as much as 24p back for that amount. over time, this will add up quite nicely.
That does make sense and the rewards side of things is a consideration alright. I still think it's a lot of bother for just a few clubcard points and a single N/A could wipe out that advantage.0 -

It may be useful if don't have an Asda or don't want to shop in Asda, but as a money-making venture, it's a non-starter. There is nothing to be gained from endlessly going through the above process. You are merely breaking even while giving yourself a great deal of hassle. You also run the risk of Tesco returning a N/A - this seemed to happen randomly and inconsistently throughout the DTD promotion.

It's not meant to be a 'good earner' - I didn't earn a penny from DTD, either. I merely got products for little or no money, same as this. My salad example proves the point - it's cheaper at Tesco by the fourth shop. With more items, a basket could be cheaper by the second shop.
For instance (again), there is a coupon for BOGOF Rustlers burgers on the coupon thread. Online, it looks like neither Tesco nor ASDA sell these products, however it works as an example: say they're £1.50 each in Tesco, use coupon, pay £1.50. They're £1 in ASDA, receive £1 back. Next shop costs 50p for two when using the coupon and voucher, whereas it would cost £1 in ASDA for two when using the coupon.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
I feel like am hitting brick wall tho...
Other than instances were coon is more than asda price doesny work. More examples wint prove it I disoroved both examples that it was just th e same goimg in asda. Also asda do 10%gurantee so surely I edf be better doing such a system there findin th opposite deals to get extra 10%.
Realise irs ure baby but the math dont add up.0
