Not men's dogs? :rotfl: He should come and meet the little beast that lives across from me then, or the one which lives around the corner, ferocious little !!!!!!s, my big tough Staffie is terrified of them (mind you she is scared of everything so that doesn't paint an entirely accurate picture) they are terriers, after all; they just look cute!

Oh so sorry LW. As you know I also have a westie pair called Poppy and Molly and dread to think what will happen when I lose them. Hugs x

Hugs also to NPM - hope you both feel better soonxx

I am feeling very under the weather so keeping a low profile. Hope the day gets better and that my two little white dogs keep the big black dog at bay. They generally do as they are also feisty little beasts xxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well very OS today here, so far I have pegged out 2 lots of washing and recycled and emptied all the bins.
Food wise I have used up the roast gammon from wkend by making a ham and pasta and peas dish with some leftover spring onions and some cream, plain yoghurt, low fat soft cheese and grated cheddar. So that's gone in the freezer.
I have also roasted a piece of pork for tea and whilst the oven was on made ginger biscuits and a lemon drizzle cake cos the lemons where on their last legs.
DH and DS3 have eaten leftover potato ash and dumplings for lunch. DS3 is feeling better although still coughing lots.
My DVD has arrived Yogalates so going to try and do that most days, its supposed to help me relax, tone up and lose weight. In other words a miracle in a box:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
DH is currently working on the front bedroom just finishing the painting, we are both in a better frame of mind. It will be a no spend wkend but lots to be getting on with, just need to remember to count our blessings sometimes.

Hi all again.Well went to the meeting at school with dd today about her transferring to another school. Her school are opposing it:mad:.They feel it will be detramental to her learning , WTH she is in year 8 not like she has even chosen her GCSE courses yet. They Know exactly who the group of girls are that are playing up and they also know about the girls who are being dragged into the rows.Bully s**t for them. They say they are monitoring the situation , so now have a very unhappy daughter who has convinced herself that she will have to stay at the school.I have tried sitting down with her and telling her to just walk away when the !!!!! ing starts but like she says thats easier said than done.Am going to ring the school she wants to go to on Tuesday and see if we can come and have a look round.I want her to be settled before exams are even thought of.Girls ah , if its not one thing its another.I cant remember being that b itchy at that age, many moons ago;)

uolypool - how awful for you both :( Of course school will oppose it - best scenario the are upset by it, too, and want to help - worst scenario, they will lose money if your daughter leaves & it won't look good if a child ups and leaves, esp if you make it clear why. Not sure what your legal positions is - can you ring your local authority (anonymously) and query the position?

Have tried, but it goes to answer phone , will be ringing Tuesday first thing.
The thing is its not the school thats the problem , her year has a huge group of girls that are so b it chy and drag everyone into the arguments.
