Morning Troops
DC1 away till tomorrow, DC2 breakfasted, showered and dressed and gone to school with his lunch box, DC3 is sitting munching breakfast.
Need to sort the hall out as it is full of camping stuff, then I will have room from the A$da delivery. Still got tons of washing to do especially as DC2 has wet the bed.
Also need to sort the DW as DH forgot to put it on before we went off and left it sitting for a week. I cannot describe the smell when I opened it <gag>. Have put it through a couple of 70deg, intensive washes and it still stinks and the plastic stuff has it ingrained into it so that will need chucking  So I have to empty it and put a cleaning thing through it, bought a double pack just in case it needs doing twice and then reload and away we go.
Dad is going to have DC2 tonight for a sleep over (his favourite <rolls eyes>) So we will just have DC3 at home.
NPM, I hope Noah gets better quickly (((hugs)))
Rosie, best of luck with the shopping.
HH, :T for a working WM
Loulou, (((hugs))) for you sweetie. Please don't worry about off loading on here if it helps. I reckon if you go for a walk you may feel a bit better in yourself and may be able to takle a bit more at home.
Essex Girl :j for more paid work.
ButterflyBrain, we have quite a good package with Sky.
Uolypool, hope the meeting goes well today.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
BB DTD is 'double the discount'. Taking advantage of tesco dtd guarantee. On the grabbit board there is a live spreadsheet showing which items are cheaper in asda compared to tesco. So you can go and buy the products which will give you all your money back, or more! It is limited to 20 pounds a time, and 100 pounds per household per month, but some people are playing it right and stocking up on goodies.
Eg: cornetto enigma 4 pack ( the posh ones) are 2.50 in tesco. You buy them and because they are 1 pound in asda at the mo, you will get dtd= 3.00! So, you are getting them for -50p.
Can't be bad to that, eh?Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Uolypool - hope the meeting goes well today
Didn't sleep too well last night - baby has shifted quite dramatically and am now getting pain on my other sciatic nerve. They say variety is the spice of life so I suppose I should be grateful that my right leg is getting a break
Still got some more sorting to do in our room to make room for bubba so will get on with that today. No idea on tea yet.
Have a lovely day, OS or otherwise, hugs to all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Why not do a quick half an hour of being Cinders and then go our for a walk in the sunshine for a couple of hours. Do what makes YOU feel good, I know the house etc is getting on top of you but if you don't make some time to look after yourself you'll end up feeling more demotivated and less likely to carry on IYSWIM.Cheapskate wrote: »No one round here's doing anything for the royal wedding, shame as I sort of fancied a bit of a do!
Same here so I am having my own "little" do :rotfl: Me? billy-no-mates? Nooooooooooo
Nowt to report here. Sun is out but it's cool with the breeze.
Taking kids to soft play later on this morning and I need to get some housework done this afternoon.
Not sure what's for tea, done a meal plan but forgot to check for ingredients so unable to do what's listed for tonight. Might have a nose in the freezer and see what I can come up with.
NPM - Sorry Noah and you are both poorly. Hope you can get through the day with as little stress as possible x
Julie - Hugs for you and your H. Why not have a chat and clear the air, especially if you know why things are a bit tense. Good luck with your job application.
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Well that is the first 15min done
Hall floor is now clear and camping stuff now tidy till I get round to dealing with it so I can put the A$da delivery there while I deal with it and put it away. One load of washing out of the machine and the next lot in. Will hang out in the next 15min.
JackieO, so wish I had a friend I could swap talents with like that. I was looking for a LETS group for our area but the nearest one is 30 miles away, so no good for me.
Jackieglasgow, we want to see Thor as well, will try over the weekend I think. Glad it is worth seeing.
Cheapskate, DH was muttering about going to the seaside if the big yellow ball puts in an apperance. Have fun if you get there
(((hugs))) Julie, hope things calm down soon, we get a bit like that to so you are not the only ones.
lowesy, hope the baby gives you some peace before it is born and you can get some proper sleep.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
And just as the timer rang for me to start the next 15min. the doorbell rang with my A$da delivery
Nice timeing :T So that has now been sorted and checked off and put away in my 15min.
Next I need to clear washing off the airers and fold and sort it and then hang some out. Will also try and get the rubbish out in that time as well.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
