Morning- glorious here too :j.I seem to have been too busy to post these last couple of days what with one thing and another.Had a lovely afternoon yesterday,my cousin came for lunch,we had soup and hm sun dried tomato bread rolls, followed by the carrot cake and a cho/coffee marble cake.I must freeze the rest or I'll keep at it till its all gone and it was quite a big one-I need to be able to fasten my dress for the wedding we've got next week

Then I took her down to my bro's house to see DN and the new baby.DS2 came as well and had a hold of him.I dont think he's held such a young baby before so he might as well get some practise in.
I've got an order to make 2 more taggy comforter blankets off D SisIL, and she'll pay me so that willhelp to cover the cost of the material I bought.I got some in pink, lemon and blue and there is lots left yet.I may just make up a few in diff colourways, and keep one for our expected DGC( unless I wait till next week, then we might find out whether its a boy or girl :j)
Turkey steaks and salad for tea.Right, better go,my other bro and Dlittle Niece are coming over in a bit.Have a good day all.
Hope Noah is better soon, and you too NPM.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Have had a productive time

Realised I hadn't put the BM on this morning so I quickly bunged it on a fast bake.
Washing out of the machine and another wash on. Some washing off the airers and folded and sorted and other washing out on the airers.
Overflowing bin emptied and new bin bag in.
DW emptied, plastic bowls, plates, cups, tupperware etc. has been binned. Clean cycle on.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

(((hugs)))Candygirl. You really could do without that. Will they be able to give him the money this month or will he have to wait till he gets paid next month?
Starting to slow down now. Managed to clear a piece of work surface 3ftx3ft, so I will have some where to prepare lunch. Have started making inroads on the pile of camping stuff in the hall.
There is no Royal Wedding parties going on round here either so DH is taking DC3 to Dad's and picking up DC2 and also going to school and picking up DC1 and taking them off to the allotment for the day and leaving me in peace to watch the celebrations, since I am a Royalist and he is not.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Candy - they're carp aren't they? Do I remember you saying that his work have done this before? Or did I make that up
threaten them with any costs you have to incur by being underpaid i.e using your credit card or whatever... never know it might put a boot up their backsides...? Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
What you've been out there searching for forever is in your hands0 -

Hi all! All this talk of wedding parties reminds me, in somerset i saw a huge banner saying "royal wedding party in our field friday" :rotfl: seemed so funny to a city girl like me!
Hope everyone's well, about to read the rest of the thread and catch up over lunch in a mo. HM frozen ham & pea soup is defrosting in the micro as we speak :j
PS. Has anyone had any luck germinating tomato seeds from a tomato bought at the supermarket? I've read online it works so am giving it a go, but wondering how successful it really is!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Just popping in to send healing vibes to Noah and anyone else in need of them.
JackieO don't you dare let me catch you climbing up to change light bulbs and such like - I know how you feel though, I'm only 5'2" myself!:D I'm so glad Danny was there to help out.:T
Some sad news - Cameron, one of the Westies due to stay with me in late May, passed away last week.:( Little chap was diabetic, and only had one eye, but he still loved life.
His co-kitchen-trasher Candy will still be coming to stay, as scheduled.:o
