Thanks Tilly and MCI. Yes indeed, it was very special.
This morning's sunshine has disappeared and it is all grey and cold and windy here now. However, I am determined to make sure that the happiness that it is still light at 5:30pm outweighs the sadness that it is cold and grey.
Haven't done anything particularly moneysaving today, but can at least report that I haven't spent anything.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Thanks Miss MM. Glad to be of use!
I have marked one section of the coursework and am losing the will to live with the second section, so I've had a break and read a few diaries, and am going to get the second section done before I let myself read any more. It's just like paying off a mortgage - I need little rewards for small milestones. :rotfl:Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Well done Alchemilla. You are more than half way! 60% in fact. How convenient that you have such a nice round number so you can keep tabs on the % you've done so easily.
I am now at 2 sections marked and one to go.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Sympathy to everyone marking. Keep taking the little breaks!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

I'm not sure I've even managed to get started on my marking! I just can't be bothered at the minute although I really should. Maybe time goals might work! If I mark for half an hour I can have a chocolate biscuit!
That might just work (if I had any biscuits!
