Thanks everyone.
I am usually a "slob around in the morning, get useful stuff done in the afternoon/evening" sort of person, but I am booked up for this afternoon and evening, so, since I've already wasted the first half of the morning, I had better get on with some decluttering NOW.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Today I have spent loads of money but got some really good deals on some stuff I've not had time to do during term time. The bill in B&Q came to a lot less than I feared, and I'm pleased with what I've got. I'm particularly pleased to have persuaded DD to have much cheaper curtains than she originally wanted!!

Morning everyone. It is freezing here again today.
I was so hoping that Wednesday's lovely weather was going to be the start of better things to come, but yesterday was dull grey and utterly miserable with a few snow flurries, and although today is marginally better, it's still blowing a gale and the sun is behind the clouds for more of the time than it's not.
Today I am going to hang DD's curtains and take my neighbours' dog for a walk because they're out all day. I also need to buy something. I know I got back from yesterday's shopping and was annoyed with myself for forgetting something that I talked about yesterday morning and then forgot to put on the list when I went shopping in the afternoon. The trouble is I've forgotten it again. Have to hope I can remember some time today.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Been forgetting to say what I'm grateful for.
Today I am grateful for
1) Occasional glimpses of sunshine
2) DD choosing affordable curtains
3) School holidays
4) DD having fun with neighbours' dog
5) Greatly improved state of spare room of not-quite-as-much-shame-as-previouslyStarting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
