  • When we sorted up the loft we found the wall chart from when the children were small. DD is now heading for 17 and DS almost 14 and they are pleased we kept them :rotfl:

Nothing like a panic to make you de-clutter paperwork but glad to hear you have taxed your car and sorted out an MOT

I was looking for my free service/MOT voucher last week, I knew it was in a brown envelope, in a white storage box in the cupboard in the dining room

It was found, out of the envelope, inside a black wallet, upstairs in the study as my BF had decided to put it there with a load of unopened post (thankfully nothing important)

In revenge I threw out a load of his paperwork, some of which dated back to 1997 :rotfl:

Well, we have made a lot of progress sorting the junk in that room into piles and boxes. Now I need to move all the piles and boxes to the right places in the house. Most of the rubbish has already gone in the wheelie bin but there are boxes of different kinds of recycling that need putting by the front door ready for a trip to the tip later this week.

Thanks QBW. I've dropped it off now, so we'll see what he says. Last year it passed with several advisories, but I only dealt with the ones he said were important, so the others may have got important by now. Anyway, I've been taking my cars to the same bloke for years, and have good reason to believe that he doesn't rip people off, so I'll cough up for whatever he says it needs.

Good luck with the car today Lois, I hope it passes with flying colours!

I have just started reading your diary and am bowing down to your excel powers! I have just started spreadsheets for all sorts and the sums bit confuses me no end. I might see if I can borrow a library book. I did look on amazon but then walked away from the screen!:money:
