Hi natty & skinty
Much cooler and cloudier here today, but pollen count feels higher to me.
Hoping for a cheap day today, possibly even an actual NSD, and without much exertion either. Once the weekend is over I need to get started on a list of things to get done. I might even make the list today, so that it's already waiting for me when I wake up on Monday morning.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Awww. Thanks Radish.:)
Attempts to eat less food do not seem to be slowing the weight gain.:( I have decided more exercise might be a more effective strategy, and have been for a bike ride today.
Now the crucial question is how long can I keep it up? I'm going to aim for either a bike ride or a walk on at least 5 days a week for the 6 weeks of the holidays. Sadly the number of characters in my sig is already near the limit, so I can't add this challenge to it.
Today was not as cheap as it should have been - I got pestered into taking the kids to the funfair. Oh well, at least it doesn't come very often, and they did have fun, and my total spend was under £25.
This evening I am thankful for
1) Another day of lovely weather
2) Bike still seems to work OK (after a little pumping of tyres)
3) Kids enjoyed funfair
4) Bike ride made me appreciate the lovely area I live in
5) Lots of lovely people saying kind things about being glad I'm back on MFW now the holidays have startedStarting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Natty's diary reminded me of two more strategies I've been doing without recording:
7) No purchases of mags or newspapers.
8) Try to put all spending on CC each month so it doesn't have to be paid for until next month, thus maximising interest on savings, but have DD to pay it off in full so never have to pay any interest.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Have made a list to do today. It has 17 items most of which really need to be done today, and I have let the morning slide by without doing anything at all.
The one bit of good news is that none of them involve spending any money.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
