It's 7:45 and I have done eight and a half of my 15 items. There's plenty of evening left to do them in, but I am beginning to flag. Must get new surge of motivation and energy from somewhere! Perhaps posting my things to be thankful for will help.

    1) Another lovely day :j
    2) Friend who invited me for a walk with her and her dog :)
    3) Lie in this morning :D
    4) Kids not squabbling much again today :)
    5) Short hair - I had it cut a few days ago and it's lovely in the heat to have it off my neck :)

Have taken car to be serviced. Will wait to hear what needs doing to it and how much it's going to cost.

Have you got a price yet? We need an MOT in September and I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll need all new tyres and mebbe an exhaust fix

Thanks everyone. Just over £300. All the usual oil change stuff etc, plus brake pads. Also needs some body work - it's those pesky little walls that are too low to see that somebody else was mentioning. Have to get that done at a body shop separately, so we'll have to see how much THAT costs too. And the caravan service coming up as well, which will probably need loads doing if it isn't written off. This is becoming a very expensive month from a vehicular PoV. :(

Two of the days I dread are MOT and service day! Cars are a constant drain aren't they. I had to tax my car this month and that was bad enough.

Lazy day today - should have done something about the car bodywork, but couldn't be bothered. Will do it tomorrow. :o

The good news is that I am sticking to my daily walk or bike ride challenge. So far I've managed one walk and 4 bike rides in 4 days. :A

This evening I am grateful for
    1) Another day of lovely weather here - sorry for those of you who've been having downpours and floods
    2) Extra sleep
    3) Interesting places to explore on bike ride - I'm trying to get to know all the little back streets and cut throughs
    4) NSD today
    5) DS and DD not squabbling again today :D (Not that they've been playing together - they've each been doing their own thing in separate rooms, but still ...)

Teenagers can still squabble when in separate rooms, usually by screaming through the walls so definitely something to be grateful for :)
