Pigpen - I hate shopping too. Toddlers are a great excuse - they have a three shop limit before they get really annoying.
We are moving house next Wednesday so I have had to change my plans and do some pre move christmas shopping, and now have enough stuff to do a bare bones Christmas
Pre Wednesday
Write and send cards complete with new address
Make sure all presents are grouped together so I can find them easily, ditto decorations
Place order with butchers
Order some wine
Order one more present for SS1
Think of something to buy for OH
Post Wednesday
Buy real tree
Decorations up, need to buy some more - it is a much bigger house
Food shopping (pantry, fridge, freezer are bare)
Wrap presents

Will hopefully start on wrapping Christmas gifts tomorrow when I will double check that I have everything!!!
Menu for Christmas day is sorted, too.If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -

nicki.. warnishing sounds good lol..:rotfl:
I've been dragged around WAY too many shops though I did draw the line at going in Primark.. I will NOT be seen in there let alone but something!!
Hubby has put the breadmaker on today.. *faint* fed the children and put them all to bed!! yippee!!
MY mother gave me £125.40 cash so I can add that to my bank account and not be quite so overdrawn which is always a bonus!
I on the other hand have bought a couple more christmas presents and judging by the number of times I have had to delete words, lost my ability to spell properly.. blame the use of hubbys lappy and the keys actually having visible letters on them! I have sisters 3 & 4 left to buy for and a few bits for my oldest sprog. ALL the wrapping so far is up to date all the cards sent and gone.
1. [STRIKE]Tidy front room and put up tree[/STRIKE].
2. tidy back room and put up trimmings.
3. Sort presents.
4. [STRIKE]wrap unwrapped presents[/STRIKE].
5. Buy gifts for [STRIKE]my mother, my stepdad[/STRIKE], sister 3, sister 4 and [STRIKE]hubby[/STRIKE]. (I do know what I am getting it is the money I am having difficulty with)
6. [STRIKE]food shop[/STRIKE]. Order meat with BIL. Tesco delivery booked for 21st (so if there is anything missing I can still find time to get it)
remaining shopping list includes.. 2 DVD-rom drives for child 1 & 2, sweets for hubby and chase up delivery of DS1's dumbells.. they should have been here last week!!!... gggrrrrLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Presents are all wrapped apart from two hampers to make up and 4 presents yet to arrive. Tree is bought and in it's stand in the dining room waiting for the branches to drop a little. It's on schedule to be decorated tomorrow night. The dining room has been cleaned and hoovered, the computer desk and CD rack all moved round. DH has gone out tonight so I will settle down in front of the telly to finish a scarf and write some christmas cards.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've just bought the last present for my children.. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!
I got DS2 a stereo with free mp3 player from tesco.. AND it was the last one so I got a further £4 knocked off because I was cheeky enough to ask!.. that paid for my daughters birthday cake!
Just my 2 sisters to do now.. PHEW!!!!
I need to get them some perfume I think, maybe a bracelet or ring or necklace each and some sweets and a trip to LUSH!!! for goodies ... OH YES!!! lol I'll do that tomorrow morning I think.
Just waiting for 5 presents in the post then I can wrap the final few things and get the house sorted ready for the influx from Santa's sack.. and my mother et al are coming Boxing day (my birthday) so I need to dig out some chairs or else we will all be sitting on the dog shelf!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Today has put me back a bit. It took longer to get mother round 2 shops than I anticipated. Then my plan to just slip a card through ex-MIL's letterbox failed miserably when she opened the door just as I reached the top of the path and told me I wasn't getting away that easily
So I stopped for a coffee and a chat. I had to forgo dropping off cards to my friend and sister as DH needed the car to go to Lush for my christmas present. He hasn't told me he was getting me Lush stuff but I've guessed as much when he said he couldn't get the present in our town.
Tree to be decorated tonight, I still haven't found the Monty Python movies that I bought for DH so I've substituted some Sinbad ones and a wallet and I am still waiting for the Superman boxed set to arrive from CD-Wow.
DD's handmade belt was delivered this morning and SIL gave us £25 and told me to buy something for all of us so I bought the Shrek DVD game which we can all play. DH said he needed a new wallet so I splashed out a little and bought him a Samsonite one from Debenhams.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
