Big thankyou's to Pink, Mrs M and Rosieben on all your hard work for yet another month.... thats bound to fly by as well as everyone else that contributes with their support both new to the forum and the not so new.
Please put me down for £65 this month as its a dog food sack month.
Ive had a similar experience penny grabber when someone mistook my monthly figure as they presumed it was weekly and then quite proudly told me for a single person i could cut back my food bill by a comfortable £20 a week when i exclaimed i dont even spend £20 a week the young girl look horrified and said i spend that alone on my lunches at work. and thats before we got to the £100 clothes budget for the year that ended on a whole debate on whether ebay or charity shops were better for getting fashion!:rotfl:HSBC [STRIKE]£3223.20[/STRIKE] £2060.00Cap1 [STRIKE]£1724.91[/STRIKE] £1782.00OD [STRIKE]£939.78[/STRIKE] £200.00No 49 of £2012 in 2012.. £645.10 so far & Crazy Clothes £14.09/£100.00 ReducingtheToiletryStash2012 UU12/IN 20 March Grocery 0.00/£65.00 & LbsNot£s Lost 14Lbs0 -

Hi
Please put me down for £250. I hope this is a realistic figure but will tweak it as the months go.
Thanks

Morning all
Had an A*da delivery yesterday which is coming out of May's budget (tweaking already) at £47.93. This is after deducting delivery, Dr Pepper and batteries in an attempt to come in under budget this month - I have never actually managed this in all my GC-ing:o!
Off to do the price guarantee now - every pound's a prisoner this month!
Hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend.
ETA -£1.98 from A*daAugust Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
well last month was a disaster for me failed badly:mad: did'nt keep my eye on the ball, this month I am going to update a couple of times a week as I think this will Help me as I think I will be able to see if things start to slide and pull the raines in
I can see the areas where I can make savings (make sure to take packed lunches) So this month I would like to go for£400 hopfully this is more of a realistic figure to start with and then as the months go on I can tweek it until I get to a figure that I am comftable with.Well am going to go away and check my firdge/freezer/cupboards and do a meal plane

After an expensive first shop of the month and some other bits bought I have just over £27 to last the rest of this GC. I'll be trying hard to come in on budget which means not taking any money to work to nip out at lunchtime, being very strict and sticking to my list when I go shopping and using up what I have in first.
Wish me luck as I embark on this challenge!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
After well and truly losing the plot last month, need to get back on track, so can I please be put down for $170 for this month.£71.93/ £180.000

I'm in for £150. 2 adults and a toddler, though DH is away for most of the month. This would be the tightest I've ever attempted to manage since my student baked bean days, but it's necessary.
Good luck everyone!
