    Hi,

I'd like to join in for May please.

Really not sure what we spend, hence need to join the challenge and keep my receipts! We're also making a big effort to meal plan and write shopping lists.

Will try at £350 for the month for four of us and the dog.

    Thanks

I'm off to a bad start already! 77p on a Fruitshoot for DS. :o
I didn't buy myself a drink, or get any chocs or crisps, so it could have been much worse! :rotfl:

    Aiming for an NSD tomorrow.

ok just got in from Aldi...£44.46 from my budget for may has been spent and gone!!! its a lot for the first week especially as there was so much in already though im planning on taking my lunches to work this month rather than buying as i spend a bloody fortune.

to aid this im even going to get off the metro a stop early to avoid tesco at all costs - same walking difference just no temptations along my path lol!

I'm planning on not buying anything else this week until next Sat at the earliest so I can get my NSD's in too and focus on eating up what I have in. If I can stretch it further than that I'll be happy as it work out I have £6.75 left per week including this week and if I don't spend anything this week I can increase it to £9!

I think I will need your luck!

Remind me not to sit in the car and let DH "nip" into Tesco for a few bits, he walked out with 3 bags full which came to £13.03

NSD for us tomorrow, will be busy working on the garden and I shall do a weeks meal planner

I can SO relate to this one, Bex. I think we need to devise a husband management strategy on here. Not a 'complete' husband management strategy though - that would be beyond the scope of this forum - but at least as far as these 'nips' and 'pops' into Tesco and other supermarkets is concerned.
