The census is after me?

I completed the census form only as far as to the point that I felt that my civil liberties were at risk. I refused to enter any personal information about working etc. That information could well be used to incriminate me. No one in this country is required to give any information, if that information is likely to incriminate someone.

Besides which, the whole idea of a census is nothing more than a head count of the country. It has now become a means to extract information that could be said to infringe my Human Rights to a peaceful and lawful unrestricted family life.

I'm 61, and I have never filled in a census form other than to supply sufficient information that is needed for a head count.
What the hell has it got to do with the government if I am working but not disclosing the income to the tax man? Who in their right mind is going to admit to that?

This is andyandflo, the guy who claimed to have shot someone in a robbery ... and also posted a message supposedly from his daughter saying that he had killed himself!

But it is not an offence to not fill in a form for an empty house.

Clearly, by definition, there is no-one available to do it.

Correct they have to have a name - someone they can prosecute.
Like the TV licence people. Never admit who you are, never say where you live! Just shrug your shoulders and walk away.

They can't issue a summons against a property nor can they issue one 'to the occupier' - there has to be a person!
If they wanted to be awkward, just give them the name of the dog - he occupies the property!

You appear to have quoted an Act as law, yet earlier you state that Acts are not law? :rotfl:

You don't seem to understand what common law is (but I guess, if you can't even spell the word ...)?

    What??
    Sorry, I'm a little confused.
I would've thought it has everything to do with the government if you are working but not disclosing your income to the taxman.

Another one like the above? keep em coming about me so entertaining? I can always log off and read them later for fun also?
not one of you have presented a agurement to my points like
    1. giving away all your personal infomation to a arms dealer who was involved in Guantanamo bay banned from 156 countries for landmines, who will have all your infomation once the census is finished with.
go ahead be sheep just stop attacking me for leaving my points accross on a open discussion board forum about my status or Educational Background... Be polite to each other it says on MSE...yet i comment and get abuse....

If you dont like my replies don't read them

So a company that may have a branch that also deals in arms knows where I live, that I am married and that I cycle to work.

    So?

You really don't have to be so devious.

The Census help pages tell us...
If no-one was staying at the property on census night then there is no legal requirement for anyone to complete and return the questionnaire for this property.
