Are people repeating themselves? I didn't notice. Different people stating the same viewpoint isn't moaning, it's having your say. I think of it like a poll. If each point of view could only be stated once, how would anyone rate the popularity (or otherwise) of a new idea?

I wouldn't want anyone who hasn't posted on this thread already to feel that they couldn't have their say, that's all.

I know where you're coming from, because I felt the same way about the morality of haggling for holidays thread. It got me really annoyed, but I didn't have to keep reading it, did I?

Oh, and BTW, Quackers, I'M the poor sod who still has a black box because their posts are pants!

This board is here for people to have an input into what they like/dislike about the site. I've only just come across the new ratings system and wanted to add my two penn'orth to the discussion....and have a good old moan!

ok ok just to make things absolutely clear........I have no problems with anyone having there say on any subject ..................what I meant was 'have your say,moan if you like but please don't just repeat the same 'say' or 'moan'

OK, I will now admit that while I hate the ratings thing, it still made me feel sad when I didn't have a green square. Now I have one I feel better, so I gave some other people some green squares too, so they wouldn't feel that no-one liked them, which is how I felt - even though I knew it was stupid.

Admit it, didn't you feel bad when you didn't have a green square and some other people did?

Stupid, isn't it? And pointless.

Ditch it, Martin - please. Don't wait the week. It's not worth it.

EDIT: Not to say anyone's stupid for wanting to use it, but it's stupid that it makes you feel bad when you haven't got a green square, is what I meant.
