No, I think it is right that people should have their say. Otherwise what are the forums for?A penny saved is a penny gained0

We're just trying this. I'm not wedded to it - so we'll give it a couple of weeks and see what everyone thinks then. We can always turn it off. I thought it may help stop the spammers getting hi reps.
Another feature we're looking at is 'thank you hack' so people can click a thank you on someone's post rather than saying it each time and clogging up the discussion.
As i say though - they're just trials, they're not a big deal
Love the idea of the 'thank you hack'. This would be especially useful on the freebies board, when people just want to say thanks for the post but don't have anything specific to add.
Hate this new rating sytem. (Only because my little box hasn't changed colour and I've now got a total inferiority complex!)And the little crying smilie isn't around anymore or else I'd use that!

I agree - 18 pages (ooops 19) of moans and groans is unbelievable. I was looking for something interesting amongst it all.;)
Still think those scales look like fluffy white clouds and I wear glasses!
You could say that people are already 'abusing' it as everyone is asking anyone for 'ratings' just to get their box green so they can be like everyone else? Although I reckon this is just 'cos its new? I suppose once the novelty has worn off you'll forget its there - unless you're looking out for the poor sod who still has a black box 'cos all their posts are pants
You can't all really want to be the same as everyone else? And feeling left out? - who cares!Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
