Hi can anyone help me? Is the £5.00 "capitalone" promo code still working in the CD WOW site - I have tried both this and 28 when promted to do so, and both are coming up as not recognised?
Can anyone provide any tips to get the £5.00 off deal? Many Thanks0 -

There are two methods of checking your order status: one for if you're a non-member, and one for if you are. If you used the code, you are a registered member.
If you are a registered member and try to see your orders using the non-members section (i.e. entering your order number and email address as some people have been saying they have done) and not logging in using the members section (username/password), the site is obviously going to say "no authorised orders to view" because you didn't use the right system.
If you got the voucher, you had to sign up, therefore you have to view through the members section. This is a completely seperate issue from the "disappearance" of orders.
However, as people have been noticing, the members orders page does not work at the moment. This has been confirmed above as a technical glitch and should be restored sometime soon. This doesn't mean that your order is cancelled, indeed as people have pointed out, the status would be showing "Cancelled", and you would get a refund shortly.
Hope this clears up the confusion.
However, if you have used multiple codes, I would be surprised if you don't get an order cancellation through. If I were CD-WOW I'd keep the money from these greedy pigsif they actually spent any money on what they bought, as administrative charges for the hassle. I'll be highly respectful of them if they honour even the vouchers from those people who've only used one, if they are not Capital One customers. It is their mistake, but they still do not have to honour the vouchers. I'll be more likely to spend with them in future, as I have also had issues with Play.com before (ages ago with another coupon for which I was not eligible). I still go there if they're the cheapest, but I'm more disposed to companies who put their hands up, admit the mistake, and let it slide.

All the CDWOW servers (1 - 13) are still rolled back to sometime in November - thus any new orders placed won't show up.
Even the individual order search isn't working at present.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I've been trying this but it says 'Sorry, the promotion code you have entered is not correct. Please check and try again'. Does that mean I can't do it or is there a way?
