Um... d'uh... I dunno, lemme think about this one!samthorley wrote:I dont think this is no techincal error guys. I went on my account, i can see ALL MY ORDERS i have made over the past year or whatever, APART from the one with the voucher used. so it aint a techno error, they have just wiped all transactions with the voucher used off their database. Hopefully it will still get sent, but dont get too excited
Well, other people have experienced this problem, and before this offer was available, so maybe it's just certain accounts. Maybe it is because of the offer, and they're checking up on us... [paranoia sets in] they're out to get us! Lock your doors, bar your windows, pull the internet connexion out!!! J/K
I dunno. So long as they either send the stuff out or refund me the money I spent, I don't care. In this case, it would be no skin off my nose.MSE: It's grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! :beer:0 -
[/QUOTE]And to Goldeneye, yes the recent CDs I have ordered have all arrived with 1-2 days after receiving my "notice of despatch" email. They were chart CDs, and so I'm assuming were readily available 'in stock'.

Bexr, I think I am being cheated! One was a chart CD and still hasn't arrived. Dammit!0 -

This is a technical error. Ordered 4 cd's last week (which all arrived) however the notification e mails have been hit and miss (didn't get any for 3 of them) plus my order history now shows no sign of them.
My credit card has been charged with my £5 off cd and had e mail this morning confirming despatch. So should have it by weekend .

EDIT
Usually when they cancel orders (and have had it happen when i've tried to use a link and a voucher, very naughty :rotfl: ) they notify you within a couple of hours and then you get the worldpay refund email through as well"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Even on a Sunday morning at 3am?
All I've had out of them is the WorldPay receipt and the Order Confirmation...
Fingers CrosseD!!!MSE: It's grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! :beer:0 -

it lists something I bought a few weeks ago, but the item bought with this voucher is no longer there.
Same here, mine was showing as dispatched yesterday, son ordered one that was showing as dispatched today, both have now disppeared.0 -
I would like to think that all those of us who asked for a voucher, just the one,and used it wisely,(eg myself i have been checking the prices of a DVD i wanted for hubby for xmas, and ordered that one) will have their discount and orders honoured. Those who were greedy and got multiple vouchers i hope are being checked out by the site, and get NONE honoured.
I know in theory none of us should have got the £5 but i don't really see a problem when it is their mistake. However to put at risk those of us who were more than happy with just one bargain,is in my mind, typical of a greedy few.Surely there must be a way of checking when the goods are going to the same address but with different emails.
Or is it because the site has been so heavily bombarded they just cannot cope?0 -

I totally agree - i saw someone boasting about how many they had used - I ordered a DVD for my daughter for Christmas and I still paid £10 for it so I hope I get it.
These greedy people are really starting to annoy me because they ruin it for others.0 -
I used 1 voucher and ordered a few things, total I needed to pay came to £16 after the voucher was taken off.
I went to look at my order status today and it has disappeared, with the message 'no authorised orders to view'.
Sadly, it looks like they are still cancelling orders regardless of the value of it.
Boo hoo0 -
Me too ... I was a little greedy and used 2 5quid vouchers for 2 purchases which seem to have disappeared. They were relatively expensive boxsets so I would be surprised if they canceled them.
Talking of greedy I know someone on another forum who stuffed himself silly with 300 5quid vouchers!!!!!!
Imagine .....
