Was looking at my MS Office 2010 ones
My Windows 7 has got 2 DVD's, one 64 bit and one 32 bit, they're both green centre with the hologram around the outside, but when you feel the wavy edge where the hologram finishes, theres a slight lip before the edge of the disc? (Cant make out of its a sticker well applied, or where machining/laser cutting finishes)
Sounds like a fake, the hologram should not be 'feelable' it should be an integral part of the plastic.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

Have just tryed re-entering the product key and it says its blocked by Microsoft
so i guess you're right
Am I ok to carry on using it? Will it do anything to my PC, or crash suddenly?
Looks like I'll have to buy a version from Microsoft on payday, I know I should of in the first place0 -

No updates and will leave security holes. and it will keep bugging you with messages.
Upgrade versions of Windows is less in price.
But if you feel brave enough - just install linux.0 -
you could always ditch windows entirely and download Ubuntu.
You would be surprised how much quicker (and better) it is, It is simple to instal alongside windows so you can have a choice of operating systems.
Thats what I have on this laptop, Windows XP for a couple of games I like and Ubuntu for everything else0 -

Debian please - lets not start a war!0 -

Wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows 7. make sure its not connected to the internet
Change windows updates to let you know when there are some but not to install
Anything that involves 'authentification' shouldnt be installed - RIGHT CLICK and HIDE them so they dont keep coming up
Should run fine then:idea:0 -

I've just tried BETA 2 of 11.04. It will leave you in tears. Its a good lesson in how to screw up something that was very good.0 -

I assume this has been discussed before? If so can you point me to a thread highlighting why one is better than t'other
Ubuntu is ok for beginners - once you get past that, its Debian all the way http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=604190 -
I like Ultimate Edition, I use Xubuntu on my old laptop though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
