Update - recieved an e-mail this morning

'Thank you for your email - please accept our apologies for the late reply, we
have been extremely busy over the last few weeks - we are currently ploughing through the backlog. Unfortunately, we have been unable to obtain the beige corduroy Converse trainers you ordered, as we are currently out of stock in this particular shoe. We do not anticipate any future re-delivery. Therefore, we have cancelled both of these from your order with immediate effect. We will be actioning a refund of £26.00 to your account in lieu of these shoes.

Please accept my apologies for both the lack of stock and the delay in informing you of this situation.

I'm really annoyed these shoes were supposed to be for my sisters christmas present and now i'll have to find her something else.

Would advise people not to order online from office as they are a complete shambles!!!

I agree...They told me eventually a few days before xmas that I wasn't getting the trainers for my brother and it was a nightmare trying to find another pair..very bad comunication

I cannot believe I missed this thread..............pleeeeeeze keep your eyes peeled for another code. Mind you there are some real cheap shoes on the current site if you fancy them. Well worth making a favorite.

i got an e-mail on 5th Jan (ordered on the 5th December!!!!) saying they couldn't fulfill the order. All this despite actually speaking to someone on the 20th to confirm my address and saying that the order would be sent that day and hopefully would arrive in time for Xmas!!!

They are notorious for all of the above. I too have ordered shoes (paid delivery) to wait min 3 weeks for arrival, when I wanted refund on goods they do not acknowledge emails (so dont waste your time). The number on the website will keep you on hold forever, so try this. Call 0207 490 5003, this is the main head office number.Then ask to be put straight through to them. My advice do not order shoes from office online. TOTALLY unreliable!

I love Office shoes & always look for online clearence bargains as am on such a budget. I've never had problems & if items out of stock have got my refund promptly. I've just got the most gorgeous shoes delivered I ordered at weekend for a tenner and think the £3.50 p+p is ok as it's per order not pair. Quidco gives you 10% too :-) They've got final clearance bargains on but I daren't [EMAIL="l@@k"]l@@k[/EMAIL]!
