Just to keep everyone updated, i put an order in on 5/12/06 and since then have tried to phone (permantley engaged) E-mail both address, both return as adresses don't exsist. I have now taken to phining the London office every day to try and get a response. the girl says that she has quite a few peoples details that they haven't contacted, so i'm guessing i'm not alone. I absolutely would not deal with these people again.0

Yes poor girl at head office reception, I was the 1st person to call she was shocked, but did say she knew of the problems.
If you call a store they will give you a custmer service number for store complaints, that is how I spoke to someone.
They are also in denial there is anything wrong.Lightbulb moment 27-11-06

I've just managed to get through to the 0845 number after nearly 45mins of holding, only to be told that two should be here soon, and two they're still trying to source, one may not be possible to get. Well that was worth it (good job it was works phone). If you need to get through, then keep trying and you'll get in the hold queue, then be prepared to waitmadnis7 wrote:Just to keep everyone updated, i put an order in on 5/12/06 and since then have tried to phone (permantley engaged) E-mail both address, both return as adresses don't exsist. I ordered three pairs of shoes in my usal size 5 but they are all too big! (I can fit my finger between the back of my heel and the shoe)
Does anyone know if I take tham back to my local store will they exchange them or do I need to go throught the whole sending back and oredering exchange process via the post?
P.S. I ordered my shoes on tuesday and they were delivered to my neighbour 3 days later (but I wasnt left a note through the door though, only found out by checking order status online!). I wasnt charged until the following week for the shoes (on my switch card)

Hi MissT
I called (yes I managed to get through) the 08450580777 number and asked them about this first as there is an Office retail shop in chester near me. They said you can take them back to the shop but you will only get a receipt or exchange from them - if you get a receipt then they will send the shoes back to the internet Office peeps and then they will refund your card once they receive the shoes back.... so yes you can!

Again many thanks to the OP for this post...people seem to be having loads of problems with this, I ordered 3 pairs of shoes, and 2 pairs arrived exactly a week after. One of the shoes had a damaged lace, so I called up the warehouse 08450 580 777 to ask about that and the 3rd pair of shoe.
The girl I spoke to was just an angel, she told me that the offer seem to have gone worldwide cause they have so many orders and they are trying to get them out as quickly as possible. They no longer have a lot of shoes people want in stock so they are calling up all the office stores to ask them to send the shoes in to the warehouse. That can take time. So if someone ordered shoes after you did and they received it before you, its possibly because they are still searching stores for your shoes.
I asked about the damaged shoe, and she said I should return it to the ware house and since they no longer have it in the ware house she would have to call the stores and to see if any of them have it. She also asked me to include the receipt of the p&p so I could get a refund for sending it back.
I sent the shoes back included the receipt and a brief note of the conversation we had and when she received the shoes, she called me up to tell me that she had received the shoes and that the p&p would be refunded however none of the stores have the shoes in stock any more and she would refund the money for the shoes.0 -
Well..i finally got through 4 days of trying and a 25 min wait and the girl said there had been a problem with my address, but she would release the shoes and checked some details with me and put them through again. So i'll wait and see.0
