Debt now at £1266.38 (including this month's interest)
I hope go get rid of the card on my September pay day. This is a little behind my target debt free date but I just cannot cut any more from my budget.
I am on a long holiday from work (school teacher) and have budgeted £50 per week for fun stuff. I have planned some hostel stays, walks, free places to go see and will impose myself on some mates in various parts of the country for a night. I also have about £200 of cash to help with this. (coin savings, money from ex which covers about 40% of his phone costs since we split)Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -

It is amazing what you can do for free in this country. Pity the petrol to get there is so expensive!Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -

I can stay with some old mates from drama school while I am there and get some reduced tickets for the shows they are involved in. Could be a nice wee trip.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -

I should move onto Scottish teacher's salary point 5 next year (£32,397)
I will pay 6.4% into my pension as standard for teacher's scheme.
I will continue to pay my student loan.
The salary calculator suggests that I will earn £1800.08 as of the new term in August.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -

I am on half-term in October so could maybe look at booking for then.
My plans for a no spend weekend were derailed by repair work at the gym. Fewer member lockers were available, so had to spend 20p on a guest looker.
I cannot wait for my July pay day, even although it means the start of the new term is getting closer.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -
