Yay thats good Hadley
Very healthy lunch.
I've just had a little bit of peppermint bark. But only a small bit and it is nearly all gone now so that is good!
Wonder what has happened to Jo, Rups and Olokia lately. They have been rather quiet. Hope they are all ok0 -
I'm here.
Weight loss has slowed down lately. Probably because I am not filling in my Weightwatchers as much as I am supposed to. Having dominos this evening and another restaurant meal on Thursday... Can't really get out of them.
I'm meeting another seamstress on Thursday as my previous one said my dress was too much for her because it has loads of layers and beads and stuff. I think I have lost weight where it was tight before so I'm hoping the dress fits better.0 -
Thanks Em. Have just looked at myself in the mirror and didn't like what I saw... still have a long way to go.
and only till August to do it. Panic.
Good to hear from you Olokia.
having my soup now, then I'd better get back to writing my report - wouldn't mind, but think it is likely to be withdrawn.0 -
You have to think of how well you have done Hadley rather than what you still want to loose. I try to think of what I have lost rather than what I still have to loose.
Nice to hear from you Olokiaoohh how exciting about the dress fitting. I have also lost a bit more weight since I last tried my dress on so am hoping that mine will fit a bit better when I have my fitting this weekend. It only needs taking up at the bottom so not too much

What I realised was that I was eating out of habit rather than hunger, so I always ate my lunch at 12:30 as that is dinnertime at work, even if I had had a bacon butty at half 10 and was still full. Sometimes someone has to tell you the obvious for it to sink in I suppose, at least that is the case with me.
So now I eat when i'm hungry and not when I want to eat because of stress or boredom or habit - doesn't mean i always eat the right things though
I know it sounds such a simple thing to change by only eating when your tummy tells you your hungry and not your brain craving or fancying. I will tackle the amount of food i eat first then when i am completly in control again i will then change to healthy choices too for long term. I am trying to be healthy and you ladies on here always talk about yummy healthy stuff too so its nice to see what your eating. I could just eat pepper and carrot sticks right now!!
I know in theory I just have to keep up those little changes, decrease my portion sizes drastically and exercise much more regularly and the weight will come off. So why is it so hard?!
Annoying isn't it . . . . we all know what we should be doing but in practice it is so hard. There is food or food adverts or food smells everywhere you go!!! I gave up smoking easily enough and really stuck with it day after day but dieting - pfffttt can't do it
I have brought myself a drinks bottle for my desk. (For some reason i don't like water in a glass!) I fill it up from the water fountain at break time and then i am challenging myself to drink the whole litre before home time. I don't drink enough at all and have been living on black coffee. I did it yesterday and i am half way through already today. Little changes and all that0 -
it's always nice to get a comment when you have lost weight.
Never happens here, it's an office full of men.
Had steak with baked potato and salad while out last night, and a bottle of fizzy water. Pizza Express tonight! When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle.
:whistle:0 -
I love compliments but only ever get back handed ones
"you've lost a bit, are you ill?"
I'm almost recovered from the tonsillitus now although I've had to resort to eating baby puddings just to get something in my stomach yum apple and cookie crumble is amazing!!
I went a little adventurous last night and had a small bowl of meatballs and pasta with the kids but then almost choked to death on a tiny meatball. I'm sick to death of soup so will stick to the baby food for a bit longer.
Anyone making plans for weekend yet? I'm off to see OH for the 1st time in 2 weeks :j
He's been on duty so hasn't been able to come home. I can't wait even though I know he'll have a fat greasy kebab waiting for me. Maybe I'll just eat the salad.
Olokia hope you have better luck with your seamstress being able to alter your dress.
Futurecooper I'm doing that as well, lucozade sports bottle with water from the fountain as I dont seem to drink out of a glass as much.
I feel like dancing now I have my voice back :dance:0 -

Hi guys... I'm here! I had a migraine Friday so left work early, was busy at work yesterday, then woke with a migraine today. So haven't gone in to work.
Migraine is practically gone now though, n I am just bored...no point going to work at this time. Tempted to o to the gym but I am scred the bright lights will bring my migraine back, and that as I am off work sick I shouldn't go anyway...
What to do?:T0
