And Lisa...that's amazing...a stone since the New Year?! WELL DONE! I am so jealous!
I weighed this morning and I've lost another lb....so three and a half in just under 2 weeks. I know it sounds a bit rubbish but I want to try and lose a steady 1 lb a week so I'm pleased
i gotta admit, i think that about 5/6 pounds of it was christmas bulge...i overate massively at christmas, but since i dropped below 10 st i have been really encouraged because i have not been below 10 st in about 8 years!
well done for your loss!, i set myself a similar target of around 1 lb a week and some weeks i have lost and others i haven't but overall i am almost exactly on track.
keep going everyone...i am currently dreading 8.40 pm legs/bums/tums but really wanna go cos toning my tum is a priority. gonna have a quick snooze then decide!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

Well done Lisa Jane!
I can't remember the last time I weighed under 10 stone! When I was about 14 I think haha. I come from a curvy family!
Did anyone watch the last episode of 'The Biggest Looser'?? They had done so well!0 -
Lisa- how do u manage it? I am also just under 10st :j, but find it really hard to drop more than a lb a week. That's what I am aiming for, but I find if it slows down to half a lb, I can't loose 1 & 1/2 next week.:T0

not sure how i've got on this week, the scales will tell tomorrow
i'm the only one in our office today that does my job out of 4, so i'm doing a fine impression of running round like a headless chicken - that's got to be good for weightloss! When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle.

Just come back from my dress fitting. This person was much better than the last who didn't want to touch it because my dress has about 5 or 6 layers.
Good news it fits me so there is no alteration to be done there but it needs to be taken up a bit at the bottom because I am short so that is being done now.
Took me ages to get back from the fitting though because of the Cheltenham races. So much traffic... I think about 50,000 people come for the races so that is at least 10,000 cars and coaches extra and Cheltenham isn't big. I hate race week.
Instead of 30 minutes it took an hour and the traffic police kept making me go the wrong way as part of their traffic management thing0 -

well i am only learning but i think i am going to start weighing myself fornightly rather than daily, i think that this will encourage me more!
i have been exercising regularly more than i have ever done before...a typical week is spin on a monday, body attack and body pump on a tuesday, rest on a wednesday, netball on a thursday and pump again on a friday. i am new to pump and have been told that it is great because something to do with your muscles burn calories while they are repairing themselves?? so even while i am resting i am burning calories, alledgedly!
the other big thing is diet...this i have found much tougher than exercise as i love food...but i am trying not to snack during the day and have given up crisps (my greatest vice!) for lent. i have been snacking on fruit and hummus with ryvita cracker bread or cut up peppers. i also love brown toast as a snack, or snack a jacks. i have also switched to using sweetner in my coffee rather than sugar.
all of this combined seems to be doing the trick...i hope to be at my goal for the end of june when i am taking my dress to the seamstress to get altered. nothing like a wedding dress that is slightly too tight for you around the waist to provide you with some motivation for losing weight!!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
