  • Hello ladies!

Just a quick message, as I've been stuck in the busiest week of my life at work! :(

Hope you're all doing well (better than me anyway - work stress has killed off my willpower!) and have a lovely weekend ahead of you. And good luck to code for Sunday!

    xxx

Hey ms, take it easy!! i know work can ruin things!! :0(

Jo, i know what u mean. i get so hungry.. i asked the PT what to do about that and he said to snack more often but little portions. its the right things that will help keep hunger away like protein and nuts and seeds. :) he has warned me to cut down on fruit as they are sugary so iam trying but failing. lol

Is there actually anything I can cut out? Today's food plan is pretty similar to the rest of the week. I don't really snack, (occassionally if hungry when I finish work I have a rich t bikkie with tea.) I don't drink fizzy regularly either. I am going to be doing wii yoga and stretches this month as well, which shoul help.

  • You have 35 weeks til your wedding = just 1lb weight loss a week would be 2 and a half stone loss!! How easy does that sound!!!. Okay you have that little thing called Xmas to handle but if you get a few extra lb losses in the bag you can afford to stay the same at least over Xmas.
I work on the principal that a stone loss is pretty much a whole dress size. I need to lose at least 1 dress size but ideally 2 and i have 46 Fridays to go til my wedding. . . . WE CAN DO IT!

Very helpful way to think about it! Thanks, if I lost that much I would be absolutely delighted. (and would probably need to buy a new wedding dress!)

I am so easily swayed to be naughty though, it happened at lunch time...but starting a new job soon and will only have 30mins for lunch so no time to make it out for a takeaway which is great!

Will do my wii dance to burn off a few cals tonight!

well done skyviky.. :) i have done my dance for today and tired.. am hungry already! :p

Jo, as a guideline, the PT told me:

Breakfast: to eat GI food like porridge with a banana, or scrambles eggs on toast.
Snack inbetween to keep sugar levels regulated (even when not hungry, otherwise when u dont snack, and get so hungry, i tend to eat bad stuff). so he said to snack on a handful of nuts.
lunch: should be protein with a bit of carbs. if have been gyming, increase protein amount, but stick to having a small-ish lunch otehrwise i have 3pm sleepy problems.

at around 4, he said can have another snack like sushi (have lost count of what foods he gave) but can look up and tell u soon. :0)
dinner, he said should be a small-ish portion, as i know mine are huge and i eat and eat till i feel full and sick! grr. i said what if ifeel hungry afterwards? he suggested a protein shake/bar. :0).
